2014-01-15xtensa: remap io area defined in device treeBaruch Siach6-5/+93
Use the simple-bus node to discover the io area, and remap the cached and bypass io ranges. The parent-bus-address value of the first triplet in the "ranges" property is used. This value is rounded down to the nearest 256MB boundary. The length of the io area is fixed at 256MB; the "ranges" property length value is ignored. Other limitations: (1) only the first simple-bus node is considered, and (2) only the first triplet of the "ranges" property is considered. See ePAPR 1.1 §6.5 for the simple-bus node description, and §2.3.8 for the "ranges" property description. 2014-01-15xtensa: standardize devicetree cpu compatible stringsBaruch Siach4-5/+5
The recommended compatible string format, according to the ePAPR v1.1 standard, is "manufacturer, model". Change the xtensa cpu compatible strings to "cdns,xtensa-cpu". Also, change the boards compatible strings in a similar way. The pic compatible string will be dealt with in a separate patch. 2014-01-15xtensa: Enable irqs after cpu is set onlineKirill Tkhai1-1/+2
there is a small possibility that wake_up of softirq thread happens between local_irq_enable() and set_cpu_online(). In this case affinity of the thread changes to fallback affinity (i.e. CPU0). This may be a source of problems. The patch kills that possibility. Signed-off-by: Kirill Tkhai <tkhai@yandex.ru> Signed-off-by: Max Filippov <jcmvbkbc@gmail.com>

2014-01-14xtensa: clear timer IRQ unconditionally in its handlerMax Filippov1-0/+1
PIC irq_ack doesn't clear timer IRQ, because timer interrupt handler usually set up new timer by writing to ccompare register and thus clearing timer IRQ. However timer may not be set up in the IRQ handler, e.g. with tickless idle on SMP, or when CPU is going offline, leaving timer IRQ raised and making do_interrupt attempting to handle it forever. To fix this always write current value of ccompare SR chosen to be linux timer back to that SR on entry to timer interrupt handler. 2013-12-29ARM: pxa: fix USB gadget driver compilation regressionLinus Walleij1-0/+2
After commit 88f718e3fa4d67f3a8dbe79a2f97d722323e4051 "ARM: pxa: delete the custom GPIO header" a compilation error was introduced in the PXA25x gadget driver. An attempt to fix the problem was made in commit b144e4ab1ef130e8bf30bcd3e529b7f35112c503 "usb: gadget: fix pxa25x compilation problems" by explictly stating the driver needs the <mach/hardware.h> header, which solved the compilation for a few boards, such as the pxa255-idp and its defconfig. However the Lubbock board has this special clause in drivers/usb/gadget/pxa25x_udc.c: This include file has an implicit dependency on <mach/irqs.h> having been included before <mach/lubbock.h> was included. Before commit 88f718e3fa4d67f3a8dbe79a2f97d722323e4051 "ARM: pxa: delete the custom GPIO header" this implicit dependency for the pxa25x_udc compile on the Lubbock was satisfied by <linux/gpio.h> implicitly including <mach/gpio.h> which was in turn including <mach/irqs.h>, apart from the earlier added <mach/hardware.h>. Fix this by having the PXA25x <mach/lubbock.h> explicitly include <mach/irqs.h>. Commit 7d7e1eb (ARM: OMAP2+: Prepare for irqs.h removal) and commit ec2c082 (ARM: OMAP2+: Remove hardcoded IRQs and enable SPARSE_IRQ) updated the way interrupts for OMAP2/3 devices are defined in the HWMOD data structures to being an index plus a fixed offset (defined by OMAP_INTC_START).
