2016-07-13snic: Fix use-after-free in case of a dma mapping errorJohannes Thumshirn1-2/+2
If there is a dma mapping error snic kfree()s buf right before printing it. Change the order to not accidently trip on memory that's not owned by us anymore. 2016-04-11scsi: disable automatic target scanHannes Reinecke1-1/+1
On larger installations it is useful to disable automatic LUN scanning, and only add the required LUNs via udev rules. This can speed up bootup dramatically. This patch introduces a new scan module parameter value 'manual', which works like 'none', but can be overridden by setting the 'rescan' value from scsi_scan_target to 'SCSI_SCAN_MANUAL'. And it updates all relevant callers to set the 'rescan' value to 'SCSI_SCAN_MANUAL' if invoked via the 'scan' option in sysfs. Signed-off-by: Hannes Reinecke <hare@suse.de> Reviewed-by: Ewan D. 2015-06-20snic: driver for Cisco SCSI HBANarsimhulu Musini1-0/+551
Cisco has developed a new PCI HBA interface called sNIC, which stands for SCSI NIC. This is a new storage feature supported on specialized network adapter. The new PCI function provides a uniform host interface and abstracts backend storage.
