Since P9 systems need only to stop the link failover, and P10 systems need only to set the gigabit link speed, split the nsci-netlink service into two and make it per-interface. Use the systemd network check to make sure the link is up first. 2022-03-31Fix the bug that devtool modify u-boot is not picked up by image-bmcYong Zhao1-0/+1
Previously when u-boot code was changed inside a devtool modify repo, the u-boot artifacts were updated but they could not be picked up by the final image-bmc. The reason was that the sstate version of u-boot was used because the dependency between u-boot and obmc-phosphor-image was not set up properly. Fix the issue by adding the proper inter-task dependency between the two. Tested: The image-bmc md5sum changes as expected when u-boot code is changed. Per [1], upstream removed the generic "BSD" license. The libconfig-perl package doesn't have an explicit LICENSE or COPYING file but instead has a single line in the readme that states the license is "bsd". 2022-03-29rsyslog: fix default server configPaul Fertser2-2/+2
Directory /etc/rsyslog.d/ is expected to hold several *.conf files each serving an independent purpose, all processed in order for each syslog message. The deprecated action ~ means "discard action is carried out, the received message is immediately discarded. No further processing of it occurs". Thus the config files that happen to be alphabetically after server.conf are not going to ever see any messages, and that is unexpected and confusing. Fix by shipping a config which writes any message to /dev/null. This is needed to avoid error 2103 in default configuration where no other output actions are specified for rsyslog. Also enable processing of other *.conf file which might be shipped by other packages or added by an end user. This should also be accomplished by a similar change to phosphor-logging so that it wouldn't revert to wrong behaviour when sending to remote syslog is disabled. This commit is created based on the following change in phosphor-networkd that creates an intermediate app which takes care of hypervisor network configuration from bmcweb and and updates the bios manager: https://gerrit.openbmc-project.xyz/c/openbmc/phosphor-networkd/+/43173 This service hosts the hypervisor network object that contains ethernet and ip address objects which will have corresponding attributes in the bios table. The above gerrit commit will give further details on what this application does. Tested the same.
