Update bitbake recipe format to make uniform with the following rules: 1) Generally bbappends should have layer(mori) overrides 2) Add uniform appending by using "append" instead of "+=" 3) bb files (excluding bbappends) typically should not have "append" phrase except for limited amount of variables (RDEPENDS,DEPENDS,FILES, ...) 4) Wrap lines greater than 80 chars when applicable 5) Switch syntax for long list values over multiple lines to use four-space indent In addition, oe-stylize.py was applied to further refine recipe syntax. Tested: Built successfully. Individual packages were tested for functionality with no notable change. 2023-07-21meta-google: Remove python3-core from nftablesWilly Tu1-0/+3
python3-core is taking a lot of space causing the image to be too large in some systems. Remove the python package config to remove the dependencies. This is not done in bbappend because it didn't work when testing it out. Tested: Built with gbs and it doesn't have python3-core when tested with ``` INHERIT += "buildhistory" BUILDHISTORY_COMMIT = "1" ``` to get the package sizes. phosphor-ipmi-fru has some complex YAML merging recipes that are not even used. All of the YAML files provided by these recipes are empty and there is not a single example of a bbappend replacing them with a non-empty version. 2023-07-18meta-ibm: only use openpower bbappend when including layerAndrew Geissler8-0/+6
There is a desire to add non-openpower systems to the meta-ibm layer. To do that, need to ensure the bbappend files that are appending to openpower recipes are only included if the machine being built includes the meta-openpower layer.
