2022-09-30dt-bindings: display: st,stm32-dsi: Handle data-lanes in DSI port nodeMarek Vasut1-3/+14
Handle 'data-lanes' property of the DSI output endpoint, it is possible to describe DSI link with 1 or 2 data lanes this way. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220926234501.583115-1-marex@denx.de Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2022-01-05dt-bindings: display: st,stm32-dsi: Fix panel node name in exampleRob Herring1-2/+1
With 'unevaluatedProperties' support enabled, the st,stm32-dsi binding has a new warning: Documentation/devicetree/bindings/display/st,stm32-dsi.example.dt.yaml: dsi@5a000000: Unevaluated properties are not allowed ('panel-dsi@0' was unexpected) The documented child node name is 'panel', so update the example. 2021-06-21dt-bindings: Drop redundant minItems/maxItemsRob Herring1-2/+0
If a property has an 'items' list, then a 'minItems' or 'maxItems' with the same size as the list is redundant and can be dropped. Note that is DT schema specific behavior and not standard json-schema behavior. The tooling will fixup the final schema adding any unspecified minItems/maxItems. This condition is partially checked with the meta-schema already, but only if both 'minItems' and 'maxItems' are equal to the 'items' length. An improved meta-schema is pending. 2021-01-12dt-bindings: display: Use OF graph schemaRob Herring1-8/+4
Now that we have a graph schema, rework the display related schemas to use it. Mostly this is adding a reference to graph.yaml and dropping duplicate parts from schemas. In panel-common.yaml, 'ports' is dropped. Any binding using 'ports' should be one with more than 1 port node, and the binding must define what each port is. Note that ti,sn65dsi86.yaml, ti,tfp410,yaml and toshiba,tc358768.yaml will need further updates to use video-interfaces.yaml once that lands. 2020-08-14dt-bindings: Whitespace clean-ups in schema filesRob Herring1-2/+1
Clean-up incorrect indentation, extra spaces, long lines, and missing EOF newline in schema files. Most of the clean-ups are for list indentation which should always be 2 spaces more than the preceding keyword. Found with yamllint (which I plan to integrate into the checks).
