2022-05-26dt-bindings: net: adin: Fix adi,phy-output-clock description syntaxGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+2
"make dt_binding_check": Documentation/devicetree/bindings/net/adi,adin.yaml:40:77: [error] syntax error: mapping values are not allowed here (syntax) The first line of the description ends with a colon, hence the block needs to be marked with a "|". 2022-05-19dt-bindings: net: adin: document phy clock output propertiesJosua Mayer1-0/+15
The ADIN1300 supports generating certain clocks on its GP_CLK pin, as well as providing the reference clock on CLK25_REF. Add DT properties to configure both pins. Technically the phy also supports a recovered 125MHz clock for synchronous ethernet. However SyncE should be configured dynamically at runtime, so it is explicitly omitted in this binding. 2020-10-07dt-bindings: Add missing 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring1-0/+2
This doesn't yet do anything in the tools, but make it explicit so we can check either 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties' is present in schemas. 'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via '$ref') and all possible properties and/or child nodes are not explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'. This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a constant source of review issues. 2019-09-21dt-bindings: net: remove un-implemented propertyAlexandru Ardelean1-7/+0
The `adi,disable-energy-detect` property was implemented in an initial version of the `adin` driver series, but after a review it was discarded in favor of implementing the ETHTOOL_PHY_EDPD phy-tunable option. With the ETHTOOL_PHY_EDPD control, it's possible to disable/enable Energy-Detect-Power-Down for the `adin` PHY, so this device-tree is not needed.
