2019-08-26ARM: dts: da850-evm: Use generic jedec, spi-nor for flashAdam Ford1-1/+1
Logic PD re-spun the L138 and AM1808 SOM's with larger flash. The m25p80 driver has a generic 'jedec,spi-nor' compatible option which is requests to use whenever possible since it will read the JEDEC READ ID opcode. 2019-01-10ARM: dts: da850-evm: Correct the audio codec regulatorsPeter Ujfalusi1-4/+25
Add the board level fixed regulators for 3.3V and 1.8V which is used to power - among other things - the tlv320aic3106 codec. Apart from removing the following warning during boot: tlv320aic3x-codec 0-0018: Too high supply voltage(s) AVDD: 5000000, DVDD: 5000000 With the correct voltages the driver can select correct OCMV value to reduce pop noise. 2018-10-04ARM: dts: da850-evm: Enable tca6416 on baseboardAdam Ford1-0/+6
There is a GPIO expander on both the UI board as well as the baseboard. This patch enables the second tca6416 and identifies it as being on the baseboard using _bb as the suffix. Signed-off-by: Adam Ford <aford173@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>

2018-06-18ARM: dts: da850-evm: Enable LCD and backlightAdam Ford1-1/+82
When using the board files the LCD works, but not with the DT. This adds enables the original da850-evm to work with the same LCD in device tree mode. The EVM has a gpio for backlight regulator and a PWM for dimming the backlight. The LCD and the vpif display pins are mutually exclusive, so if using the LCD, do not load the vpif driver. 2018-06-18ARM: dts: da850-evm: Enable SATA portAdam Ford1-0/+4

2017-06-06ARM: dts: da850-evm: fix tca6416 for use with GPIO hogsKevin Hilman1-0/+2
In order GPIOS from this controller to be used with the "gpio-hogs" property, the tca6416 node has to properly labeled as a gpio-controller, and use #gpio-cells. With that, the SEL_A, SEL_B, SEL_C lines that are used to select VPIF input can be configured using GPIO hogs. As an example, example, the configuration below selects the analog video input on the da850-evm UI board: &tca6416 { status = "okay"; sel_a { gpio-hog; gpios = <7 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; output-high; line-name = "ADC_ENn"; }; sel_b { gpio-hog; gpios = <6 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; output-high; line-name = "CAMERA_ENn"; }; sel_c { gpio-hog; gpios = <5 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; output-low; line-name = "VIDEO_IN_ENn"; }; }; Signed-off-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>

2017-01-20ARM: dts: da850-evm: fix read access to SPI flashFabien Parent1-0/+1
Read access to the SPI flash are broken on da850-evm, i.e. the data read is not what is actually programmed on the flash. According to the datasheet for the M25P64 part present on the da850-evm, if the SPI frequency is higher than 20MHz then the READ command is not usable anymore and only the FAST_READ command can be used to read data. This commit specifies in the DTS that we should use FAST_READ command instead of the READ command. 2016-08-18ARM: dts: da850,da850-evm: Add an aemif node and use it for the NANDKarl Beldan1-5/+44
Currently the davinci da8xx boards use the mach-davinci aemif code. Instantiating an aemif node into the DT allows to use the ti-aemif memory driver and is another step to better DT support. This change adds an aemif node in the dtsi while retiring the nand_cs3 node. The NAND is now instantiated in the dts as a subnode of the aemif one along with its pins. 2015-12-24ARM: DTS: da850: Use the new DT bindings for the eDMA3Peter Ujfalusi1-0/+4
Switch to use the ti,edma3-tpcc and ti,edma3-tptc binding for the eDMA3. With the new bindings boards can customize and tweak the DMA channel priority to match their needs. With the new binding the memcpy is safe to be used since with the old binding it was not possible for a driver to know which channel is allowed to be used as non HW triggered channel. Using the new binding will allow us to reserve PaRAM slots to be used by the DSP which was not possible before and prevented the da850 boards to be moved to DT only. Note that the DMA memcpy is disabled, it can be enabled by reserving channels for memcpy by adding the following property to the edma node: ti,edma-memcpy-channels = <20 21>; /* Reserving channel 20 and 21 for memcpy */ Signed-off-by: Peter Ujfalusi <peter.ujfalusi@ti.com> Tested-by: Sushaanth Srirangapathi <sushaanth.s@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>

For DT, DaVinci platform can use pinctrl-single driver for handling padconf registers. Enable PINCTRL Kconfig for MACH_DA8XX_DT platform. Add required pinctrl DT entries in da850 dts file. Test procedure 1)Populate DT file with NAND node information. 2)Populate board DT file with pinmux information for NAND. 3)Boot and confirm NAND is detected by the kernel. 4)cat /proc/mtd to show partitions.
