Pull ARM devicetree updates from Arnd Bergmann: "Most of the commits are for additional hardware support and minor fixes for existing machines for all the usual platforms: qcom, amlogic, at91, gemini, mediatek, ti, socfpga, i.mx, layerscape, uniphier, rockchip, exynos, ux500, mvebu, tegra, stm32, renesas, sunxi, broadcom, omap, and versatile. The conversion of binding files to machine-readable yaml format continues, along with fixes found during the validation. Andre Przywara takes over maintainership for the old Calxeda Highbank platform and provides a number of updates. The OMAP2+ platforms see a continued move from platform data into dts files, for many devices that relied on a mix of auxiliary data in addition to the DT description A moderate number of new SoCs and machines are added, here is a full list: - Two new Qualcomm SoCs with their evaluation boards: Snapdragon 865 (SM8250) is the current high-end phone chip, and IPQ6018 is a new WiFi-6 router chip. - Mediatek MT8516 application processor SoC for voice assistants, along with the "pumpkin" development board - NXP i.MX8M Plus SoC, a variant of the popular i.MX8M, along with an evaluation board. - Kontron "sl28" board family based on NXP LS1028A - Eleven variations of the new i.MX6 TechNexion Pico board, combining the "dwarf", "hobbit", "nymph" and "pi" baseboards with i.MX6/i.MX7 SoM carriers - Three additional variants of the Toradex Colibri board family, all based on versions of the NXP i.MX7. - The Pinebook Pro laptop based on Rockchip RK3399 - Samsung S7710 Galaxy Xcover 2, a 2013 vintage Android phone based on the ST-Ericsson u8500 platform - DH Electronics DHCOM SoM and PDK2 rev. 400 carrier based on STMicroelectronics stm32mp157 - Renesas M3ULCB starter kit for R-Car M3-W+ - Hoperun HiHope development board with Renesas RZ/G2M - Pine64 PineTab tablet and PinePhone phone, both based on Allwinner A64 - Linutronix Testbox v2 for the Lamobo R1 router, based on Allwinner A20 - PocketBook Touch Lux 3 ebook reader, based on Allwinner A13" * tag 'arm-dt-5.7' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc: (520 commits) ARM: dts: ux500: Fix missing node renames arm64: dts: Revert "specify console via command line" MAINTAINERS: Update Calxeda Highbank maintainership arm: dts: calxeda: Group port-phys and sgpio-gpio items arm: dts: calxeda: Fix interrupt grouping arm: dts: calxeda: Provide UART clock arm: dts: calxeda: Basic DT file fixes arm64: dts: specify console via command line ARM: dts: at91: sama5d27_wlsom1_ek: add USB device node ARM: dts: gemini: Add thermal zone to DIR-685 ARM: dts: gemini: Rename IDE nodes ARM: socfpga: arria10: Add ptp_ref clock to ethernet nodes arm64: dts: ti: k3-j721e-mcu: add scm node and phy-gmii-sel nodes arm64: dts: ti: k3-am65-mcu: add phy-gmii-sel node arm64: dts: ti: k3-am65-mcu: Add DMA entries for ADC arm64: dts: ti: k3-am65-main: Add DMA entries for main_spi0 arm64: dts: ti: k3-j721e-mcu-wakeup: Add DMA entries for ADC arm64: dts: ti: k3-am65: Add clocks to dwc3 nodes arm64: dts: meson-g12b-odroid-n2: add SPIFC controller node arm64: dts: khadas-vim3: add SPIFC controller node ...
2020-03-30ARM: dts: apalis-imx6qdl: use rgmii-id instead of rgmiiPhilippe Schenker1-1/+1
Until now a PHY-fixup in mach-imx set our rgmii timing correctly. For the PHY KSZ9131 there is no PHY-fixup in mach-imx. To support this PHY too, use rgmii-id. For the now used KSZ9031 nothing will change, as rgmii-id is only implemented and supported by the KSZ9131. Signed-off-by: Philippe Schenker <philippe.schenker@toradex.com> Signed-off-by: David S. 2020-03-16ARM: dts: imx6: toradex: use SPDX-License-IdentifierIgor Opaniuk1-38/+2
1. Replace boiler plate licenses texts with the SPDX license identifiers in Toradex iMX6-based SoM device trees. 2. As X11 is identical to the MIT License, but with an extra sentence that prohibits using the copyright holders' names for advertising or promotional purposes without written permission, use MIT license instead of X11 ('s/X11/MIT/g'). 3. Replace "Toradex AG" with "Toradex" in the Copyright notice. 4. Use GPL2.0+ instead of GPL2.0, as it's used now by default for all new DTS files from Toradex. 2019-12-23ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis: mux HDMI CEC pinStefan Agner1-1/+1
Mux the HDMI CEC pin to make HDMI CEC working. With this change HDMI CEC seems to work fine on a Apalis iMX6 on Ixora using cec-ctl. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan.agner@toradex.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2019-10-28ARM: dts: imx*(colibri|apalis): add missing recovery modes to i2cPhilippe Schenker1-5/+25
This patch adds missing i2c recovery modes and corrects wrongly named ones. Signed-off-by: Philippe Schenker <philippe.schenker@toradex.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2019-10-02ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis: Add sleep state to can interfacesPhilippe Schenker1-6/+21
This patch prepares the devicetree for the new Ixora V1.2 where we are able to turn off the supply of the can transceiver. This implies to use a sleep state on transmission pins in order to prevent backfeeding. 2019-02-11ARM: dts: imx6*-apalis/-colibri: mark I2C recovery GPIOs as open drainStefan Agner1-2/+2
Since commit d2d0ad2aec4a ("i2c: imx: use open drain for recovery GPIO") GPIO lib expects this GPIO to be configured as open drain. Make sure we define this GPIO as open drain in the device tree. This gets rid of the following warning: gpio-81 (scl): enforced open drain please flag it properly in DT/ACPI DSDT/board file Note that currently the i.MX pinctrl driver does not support enabling open drain directly, so this patch has no effect in practice. Open drain is enabled by the fixed pinmux entry. 2018-12-10ARM: dts: imx6qdl: Fix memory node duplicationMarco Franchi1-0/+1
Boards based on imx6qdl have duplicate memory nodes: - One coming from the board device tree file: memory@ - One coming from the imx6qdl.dtsi file. Fix the duplication by removing the memory node from the imx6qdl.dtsi file and by adding 'device_type = "memory";' in the board Device Tree. Converted using the following command: perl -p0777i -e 's/memory\@10000000 \{\n/memory\@10000000 \{\n\t\tdevice_type = \"memory\";\n/m' `find ./arch/arm/boot/dts -name "imx6*"`` Reported-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Marco Franchi <marco.franchi@nxp.com> Reviewed-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2018-09-10ARM: dts: imx6q-apalis: mux RESET_MOCI# signalStefan Agner1-4/+0
The pinctrl properties on the IOMUXC node get overwritten by the carrier board level device tree, hence the pinctrl_reset_moci pinctrl does not get applied. Associate the pinctrl_reset_moci pinctrl with the PCIe node where we also make use of the pin as a reset GPIO. Since the pin is muxed as a GPIO by default not muxing it explicitly worked fine in practise. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: remove unused pinctrl groupsStefan Agner1-34/+0
100/200MHz states for USDHC3 are not required since the SoC does not support modes faster than DDR52 for the on board eMMC. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: assign VDDD to SGTL5000Stefan Agner1-1/+2
VDDD is connected to VGEN4 of the PF0100. This rail should only run at 1.8V since there are multiple consumer and they all expect the rail to be at 1.8V. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: fix on-module regulatorsStefan Agner1-11/+11
Remove the 2.5V regulator, it does not exist. There is 3.3V and 3.3V_AUDIO provided to the module through the edge connector, model those as fixed regulators like we use to do in other Colibri device trees. The SGTL5000 uses 3.3V_AUDIO as VDDA. Note that the driver derives the analog ground voltage (VAG) from this supply. The new value should allow higher output swings before clipping occurs. Refer to the SGTL5000 datasheet for details. 2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: remove 1.8V regulatorStefan Agner1-8/+0

2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: disable read-only switchStefan Agner1-0/+2
Use the disable-wp to indicate that Apalis and Colibri iMX6 do not make use of the native write-protect signal available on the i.MX 6 SoCs. This prevents warnings: mmc0: host does not support reading read-only switch, assuming write-enable Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2018-07-11ARM: dts: imx6qdl-apalis/-colibri: prevent 1.8V modesStefan Agner1-3/+3
Use no-1-8-v device tree property to indicate that the board does not support 1.8V signaling. The property voltage-ranges seems not appropriate in our case since we do not have level shifters in place. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
