2015-01-29ARM: 8283/1: sa1100: collie: clear PWER register on machine initDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-2/+1
Let kernel drivers to control wakeup sources instead of hardcoding them in the collie.c board file. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2014-12-31arm: sa1100: move irda header to linux/platform_dataDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-1/+1
In the end asm/mach/irda.h header is not used by anybody except sa1100. Move the header to the platform data includes dir and rename it to irda-sa11x0.h. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2014-11-27ARM: 8217/1: sa1100 collie: use gpio-charger instead of pda-powerDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-48/+7
Use gpio-charger driver instead of pda-power: it automatically cares about used gpio and since collie does not differentiate between usb and ac chargers, pda-power is an overkill for it. As a bonus this allows us to remove gpio_to_irq calls from machine init call - it is fragile. These gpio_to_irq calls will fail if gpios are registered later, via device driver mechanisms. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2014-06-29ARM: 8085/1: sa1100: collie: add top boot mtd partitionAndrea Adami1-0/+5
The CFI mapping is now perfect so we can expose the top block, read only. There isn't much to read, though, just the sharpsl_params values. Signed-off-by: Andrea Adami <andrea.adami@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2014-06-29ARM: 8084/1: sa1100: collie: revert back to cfi_probeAndrea Adami1-1/+1
Reverts commit d26b17edafc45187c30cae134a5e5429d58ad676 ARM: sa1100: collie.c: fall back to jedec_probe flash detection Unfortunately the detection was challenged on the defective unit used for tests: one of the NOR chips did not respond to the CFI query. Moreover that bad device needed extra delays on erase-suspend/resume cycles. Tested personally on 3 different units and with feedback of two other users. Signed-off-by: Andrea Adami <andrea.adami@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2014-02-12ARM: 7936/1: sa1100: collie: add support for IrDA transceiverDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-0/+33
Collie has onboard IrDA transceiver controlled via active-low gpio. Add corresponding platform data. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2014-01-11ARM: 7935/1: sa1100: collie: add gpio-keys configurationDmitry Eremin-Solenikov1-0/+35
collie has several GPIO lines that act like keys - Sync/Wakeup button on dock station is connected to GPIO line. Another one is connected to on/off button. Add corresponding gpio-keys configuration. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Eremin-Solenikov <dbaryshkov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2013-09-18ARM: sa1100: collie.c: fall back to jedec_probe flash detectionAndrea Adami1-1/+1
Zaurus collie contains 2 LH28F640BFHE-PTTL90 (64M 4Mx16) and at the moment cfi will not detect the collie NOR. In the meanwhile we can revert to the jedec-probe map which has been fixed with following commit: mtd: jedec_probe: fix LH28F640BF definition fe2f4c8e0bf2756b670ee78fa9772613a2ea8495 Somehow this is unsatisfactory because the flash is mounted READ ONLY (as from factory, with a RO cramfs) Signed-off-by: Andrea Adami <andrea.adami@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren1-1/+1
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. Tested-by: Robert Jarzmik <robert.jarzmik@free.fr> Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>

2012-04-03ARM: fix lcd power build failure in collie_defconfigPaul Gortmaker1-0/+4
Commit 086ada54abaa4316e8603f02410fe8ebc9ba2de1 "FB: sa1100: remove global sa1100fb_.*_power function pointers" got rid of all instances but one in locomolcd.c -- which was conditional on CONFIG_SA1100_COLLIE. The associated .power field which replaces the global is populated in mach-sa1100/collie.c so move the assignment there, but make it conditional on the locomolcd support, so use CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_LOCOMO in that file. 2012-02-03MFD: mcp-sa11x0: move setup of PPC unit out of mcp-sa11x0.cRussell King1-0/+2
Patch taken from af9081ae64 (ARM: sa1100: Refactor mcp-sa11x0 to use platform resources.) by Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de>, and consolidated to use a common function. Move the setup of the PPC unit out of mcp-sa11x0 into the core SA11x0 code, and call it from each platforms initialization file. This centralizes the setup of the PPC unit while not polluting the mcp-sa11x0 driver with these details. Acked-by: Jochen Friedrich <jochen@scram.de> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

bus." This reverts commit 5dd7bf59e0e8563265b3e5b33276099ef628fcc7. Conflicts: scripts/mod/file2alias.c This change is wrong on many levels. First and foremost, it causes a regression. On boot on Assabet, which this patch gives a codec id of 'ucb1x00', it gives: ucb1x00 ID not found: 1005 0x1005 is a valid ID for the UCB1300 device. Secondly, this patch is way over the top in terms of complexity. The only device which has been seen to be connected with this MCP code is the UCB1x00 (UCB1200, UCB1300 etc) devices, and they all use the same driver. Adding a match table, requiring the codec string to match the hardware ID read out of the ID register, etc is completely over the top when we can just read the hardware ID register.

2012-01-19ARM: sa11x0: fix collie build errorRussell King1-3/+2
f408c985cefc (GPIO: sa1100: implement proper gpiolib gpio_to_irq conversion) made gpio_to_irq() a function. This breaks collie where it's used to initialize some static data.
