2020-12-01arm64: dts: meson: Add capacity-dmips-mhz attributes to GXMChristian Hewitt1-0/+20
GXM (S912) is a big-little design with CPUs 0-3 clocked at 1.5GHz and CPUs 4-7 at 1.0GHz. Adding capacity-dmips-mhz attributes allows the scheduler to factor the different clock speeds into capacity calculations and prefer the higher-clocked cluster to improve overall performance. This was inspired by the similar change for G12B [0] boards. The diference here is that all cores are A53's so the same dmips-mhz value is used. 2020-07-22arm64: dts: amlogic: meson-gxm: add the Mali OPP table and use DVFSMartin Blumenstingl1-15/+30
Add the OPP table for the Mali-T820 GPU and drop the hardcoded initial clock configuration. This enables GPU DVFS and thus saves power when the GPU is not in use while still being able switch to a higher clock on demand. 2019-04-02arm64: dts: meson-gxm: Add Mali-T820 nodeChristian Hewitt1-0/+27
The Amlogic Meson GXM SoC embeds an ARM Mali T820 GPU. This patch adds the node with all the needed properties to power on the GPU. This has been tested with the work-in-progress PanFrost project aiming support for ARM Mali Midgard and later GPUs. 2019-01-30arm64: dts: Remove inconsistent use of 'arm,armv8' compatible stringRob Herring1-4/+4
The 'arm,armv8' compatible string is only for software models. It adds little value otherwise and is inconsistently used as a fallback on some platforms. Remove it from those platforms. This fixes warnings generated by the DT schema. 2018-04-18ARM64: dts: meson-gxm: add GXM specific USB host configurationMartin Blumenstingl1-0/+17
The USB configuration on GXM is slightly different than on GXL. The dwc3 controller's internal hub has three USB2 ports (instead of 2 on GXL) along with a dedicated USB2 PHY for this port. However, it seems that there are no pins on GXM which would allow connecting the third port to a physical USB port. Passing the third PHY is required though, because without it none of the other USB ports is working (this seems to be a limitation of how the internal USB hub works, if one PHY is disabled then no USB port works). 2017-01-30ARM64: dts: meson: meson-gx: add the SAR ADCMartin Blumenstingl1-0/+4
Add the SAR ADC to meson-gxbb.dtsi and meson-gxl.dtsi. GXBB provides a 10-bit ADC while GXL and GXM provide a 12-bit ADC. Some boards use resistor ladder buttons connected through one of the ADC channels. On newer devices (GXL and GXM) some boards use pull-ups/downs to change the resistance (and thus the ADC value) on one of the ADC channels to indicate the board revision. 2016-11-23ARM64: dts: Add support for Meson GXMNeil Armstrong1-0/+114
Following the Amlogic Linux kernel, it seem the only differences between the GXL and GXM SoCs are the CPU Clusters. This commit renames the gxl-s905d-p23x DTSI in a common file for S905D p23x and S912 q20x boards. Then adds a meson-gxm dtsi and reproduce the P23x to Q20x boards dts files since the S905D and S912 SoCs shares the same pinout and the P23x and Q20x boards are identical.
