2023-09-19bpf: Remove prog->active check for bpf_lsm and bpf_iterMartin KaFai Lau1-7/+2
[ Upstream commit 271de525e1d7f564e88a9d212c50998b49a54476 ] The commit 64696c40d03c ("bpf: Add __bpf_prog_{enter,exit}_struct_ops for struct_ops trampoline") removed prog->active check for struct_ops prog. The bpf_lsm and bpf_iter is also using trampoline. Like struct_ops, the bpf_lsm and bpf_iter have fixed hooks for the prog to attach. The kernel does not call the same hook in a recursive way. This patch also removes the prog->active check for bpf_lsm and bpf_iter. A later patch has a test to reproduce the recursion issue for a sleepable bpf_lsm program. This patch appends the '_recur' naming to the existing enter and exit functions that track the prog->active counter. New __bpf_prog_{enter,exit}[_sleepable] function are added to skip the prog->active tracking. The '_struct_ops' version is also removed. It also moves the decision on picking the enter and exit function to the new bpf_trampoline_{enter,exit}(). It returns the '_recur' ones for all tracing progs to use. For bpf_lsm, bpf_iter, struct_ops (no prog->active tracking after 64696c40d03c), and bpf_lsm_cgroup (no prog->active tracking after 69fd337a975c7), it will return the functions that don't track the prog->active. 2023-09-19arm64: dts: renesas: rzg2l: Fix txdv-skew-psec typosChris Paterson3-5/+5
commit db67345716a52abb750ec8f76d6a5675218715f9 upstream. It looks like txdv-skew-psec is a typo from a copy+paste. txdv-skew-psec is not present in the PHY bindings nor is it in the driver. Correct to txen-skew-psec which is clearly what it was meant to be. Given that the default for txen-skew-psec is 0, and the device tree is only trying to set it to 0 anyway, there should not be any functional change from this fix. 2023-09-13arm64: sdei: abort running SDEI handlers during crashD Scott Phillips4-6/+38
commit 5cd474e57368f0957c343bb21e309cf82826b1ef upstream. Interrupts are blocked in SDEI context, per the SDEI spec: "The client interrupts cannot preempt the event handler." If we crashed in the SDEI handler-running context (as with ACPI's AGDI) then we need to clean up the SDEI state before proceeding to the crash kernel so that the crash kernel can have working interrupts. Track the active SDEI handler per-cpu so that we can COMPLETE_AND_RESUME the handler, discarding the interrupted context. [ Upstream commit 43a684580819e7f35b6cb38236be63c4cba26ef4 ] The ov5640 driver expects DOVDD, AVDD and DVDD as regulator supply names. The ov5640 has depended on these names since the driver was committed upstream in 2017. Similarly apq8016-sbc.dtsi has had completely different regulator names since its own initial commit in 2020. Perhaps the regulators were left on in previous 410c bootloaders. In any case today on 6.5 we won't switch on the ov5640 without correctly naming the regulators. [ Upstream commit 01948b09edc3fecf8486c57c2d2fb8b80886f3d0 ] For both SVE and SME we abuse the generic register field comparison support in the cpufeature code as part of our detection of unsupported variations in the vector lengths available to PEs, reporting the maximum vector lengths via ZCR_EL1.LEN and SMCR_EL1.LEN. Since these are configuration registers rather than identification registers the assumptions the cpufeature code makes about how unknown bitfields behave are invalid, leading to warnings when SME features like FA64 are enabled and we hotplug a CPU: CPU features: SANITY CHECK: Unexpected variation in SYS_SMCR_EL1. Boot CPU: 0x0000000000000f, CPU3: 0x0000008000000f CPU features: Unsupported CPU feature variation detected. SVE has no controls other than the vector length so is not yet impacted but the same issue will apply there if any are defined. Since the only field we are interested in having the cpufeature code handle is the length field and we use a custom read function to obtain the value we can avoid these warnings by filtering out all other bits when we return the register value, if we're doing that we don't need to bother reading the register at all and can simply use the RDVL/RDSVL value we were filling in instead. 2023-09-02arm64: module: Use module_init_layout_section() to spot init sectionsJames Morse1-1/+1
commit f928f8b1a2496e7af95b860f9acf553f20f68f16 upstream. Today module_frob_arch_sections() spots init sections from their 'init' prefix, and uses this to keep the init PLTs separate from the rest. module_emit_plt_entry() uses within_module_init() to determine if a location is in the init text or not, but this depends on whether core code thought this was an init section. Naturally the logic is different. module_init_layout_section() groups the init and exit text together if module unloading is disabled, as the exit code will never run. The result is kernels with this configuration can't load all their modules because there are not enough PLTs for the combined init+exit section. This results in the following: | WARNING: CPU: 2 PID: 51 at arch/arm64/kernel/module-plts.c:99 module_emit_plt_entry+0x184/0x1cc | Modules linked in: crct10dif_common | CPU: 2 PID: 51 Comm: modprobe Not tainted 6.5.0-rc4-yocto-standard-dirty #15208 | Hardware name: QEMU KVM Virtual Machine, BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 | pstate: 20400005 (nzCv daif +PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT -SSBS BTYPE=--) | pc : module_emit_plt_entry+0x184/0x1cc | lr : module_emit_plt_entry+0x94/0x1cc | sp : ffffffc0803bba60 [...] | Call trace: | module_emit_plt_entry+0x184/0x1cc | apply_relocate_add+0x2bc/0x8e4 | load_module+0xe34/0x1bd4 | init_module_from_file+0x84/0xc0 | __arm64_sys_finit_module+0x1b8/0x27c | invoke_syscall.constprop.0+0x5c/0x104 | do_el0_svc+0x58/0x160 | el0_svc+0x38/0x110 | el0t_64_sync_handler+0xc0/0xc4 | el0t_64_sync+0x190/0x194 A previous patch exposed module_init_layout_section(), use that so the logic is the same. 2023-08-23arm64/ptrace: Ensure that SME is set up for target when writing SSVE stateMark Brown4-7/+14
commit 5d0a8d2fba50e9c07cde4aad7fba28c008b07a5b upstream. When we use NT_ARM_SSVE to either enable streaming mode or change the vector length for a process we do not currently do anything to ensure that there is storage allocated for the SME specific register state. If the task had not previously used SME or we changed the vector length then the task will not have had TIF_SME set or backing storage for ZA/ZT allocated, resulting in inconsistent register sizes when saving state and spurious traps which flush the newly set register state. We should set TIF_SME to disable traps and ensure that storage is allocated for ZA and ZT if it is not already allocated. This requires modifying sme_alloc() to make the flush of any existing register state optional so we don't disturb existing state for ZA and ZT. 2023-08-23arm64: dts: rockchip: Fix Wifi/Bluetooth on ROCK Pi 4 boardsYogesh Hegde1-1/+1
commit ebceec271e552a2b05e47d8ef0597052b1a39449 upstream. This patch fixes an issue affecting the Wifi/Bluetooth connectivity on ROCK Pi 4 boards. Commit f471b1b2db08 ("arm64: dts: rockchip: Fix Bluetooth on ROCK Pi 4 boards") introduced a problem with the clock configuration. Specifically, the clock-names property of the sdio-pwrseq node was not updated to 'lpo', causing the driver to wait indefinitely for the wrong clock signal 'ext_clock' instead of the expected one 'lpo'. This prevented the proper initialization of Wifi/Bluetooth chip on ROCK Pi 4 boards. To address this, this patch updates the clock-names property of the sdio-pwrseq node to "lpo" to align with the changes made to the bluetooth node. This patch has been tested on ROCK Pi 4B. 2023-08-23arm64: dts: imx93: Fix anatop node sizeAlexander Stein1-1/+1
[ Upstream commit 78e869dd8b2ba19765ac9b05cdea3e432d1dc188 ] Although the memory map of i.MX93 reference manual rev. 2 claims that analog top has start address of 0x44480000 and end address of 0x4448ffff, this overlaps with TMU memory area starting at 0x44482000, as stated in section 73.6.1. As PLL configuration registers start at addresses up to 0x44481400, as used by clk-imx93, reduce the anatop size to 0x2000, so exclude the TMU area but keep all PLL registers inside.
