By adding a forward declaration for struct lppaca we can untangle paca.h and lppaca.h. Also move get_lppaca() into lppaca.h for consistency. Add includes of lppaca.h to some files that need it. 2022-03-08powerpc: Move C prototypes out of asm-prototypes.hChristophe Leroy1-1/+0
We originally added asm-prototypes.h in commit 42f5b4cacd78 ("powerpc: Introduce asm-prototypes.h"). It's purpose was for prototypes of C functions that are only called from asm, in order to fix sparse warnings about missing prototypes. A few months later Nick added a different use case in commit 4efca4ed05cb ("kbuild: modversions for EXPORT_SYMBOL() for asm") for C prototypes for exported asm functions. This is basically the inverse of our original usage. Since then we've added various prototypes to asm-prototypes.h for both reasons, meaning we now need to unstitch it all. Dispatch prototypes of C functions into relevant headers and keep only the prototypes for functions defined in assembly. 2021-02-08powerpc: remove arguments from fault handler functionsNicholas Piggin1-4/+7
Make mm fault handlers all just take the pt_regs * argument and load DAR/DSISR from that. Make those that return a value return long. This is done to make the function signatures match other handlers, which will help with a future patch to add wrappers. Explicit arguments could be added for performance but that would require more wrapper macro variants. 2020-09-15powerpc/mm/book3s: Split radix and hash MAX_PHYSMEM limitAneesh Kumar K.V1-2/+2
MAX_PHYSMEM #define is used along with sparsemem to determine the SECTION_SHIFT value. Powerpc also uses the same value to limit the max memory enabled on the system. With 4K PAGE_SIZE and hash translation mode, we want to limit the max memory enabled to 64TB due to page table size restrictions. However, with radix translation, we don't have these restrictions. Hence split the radix and hash MA_PHYSMEM limit and use different limit for each of them.
