Linux/ACPI core files using internal.h all PREFIX "ACPI: ", however, not all ACPI drivers use/want it -- and they should not have to #undef PREFIX to define their own. 2008-10-11ACPI: Change acpi_evaluate_integer to support 64-bit on 32-bit kernelsMatthew Wilcox1-1/+1
As of version 2.0, ACPI can return 64-bit integers. The current acpi_evaluate_integer only supports 64-bit integers on 64-bit platforms. In the function of wait_transaction_complete when the timeout happens, OS will try to check the status of SMbus again. If the status is what OS expected, it will be regarded as the bogus timeout.
