2023-06-16clk: mediatek: clk-mt8173-apmixedsys: Fix iomap not released issueAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-1/+4
In case of error after of_ioremap() the resource must be released: call iounmap() where appropriate to fix that. 2023-06-16clk: mediatek: clk-mt8173-apmixedsys: Fix return value for of_iomap() errorAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-1/+1
The of_iomap() function returns NULL in case of error so usage of PTR_ERR() is wrong! Change that to return -ENOMEM in case of failure. 2023-05-11clk: mediatek: Convert all remaining drivers to platform_driver's .remove_new()Uwe Kleine-König1-4/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert all mediatek clk drivers from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. 2023-03-13clk: mediatek: Add MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() where appropriateAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-0/+1
Add a MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() on all clocks that can be built as modules to allow auto-load at boot. 2023-03-13clk: mediatek: mt8173: Add support for frequency hopping through FHCTLAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-3/+62
Add FHCTL parameters and register PLLs through FHCTL to add support for frequency hopping and SSC. FHCTL will be enabled only on PLLs specified in devicetree. This commit brings functional changes only upon addition of devicetree configuration. 2023-01-31clk: mediatek: mt8173: Break down clock drivers and allow module buildAngeloGioacchino Del Regno1-0/+157
Split the giant clock driver for MT8173 into smaller drivers and make it possible to build the non boot critical clock controller drivers as modules by adding remove functions and both module description and license where needed. While at it, also change a mtk_register_reset_controller() call to mtk_register_reset_controller_with_dev() in mt8173-infracfg. Some spare code style cleanups were also performed.
