2023-07-21drm: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring1-1/+2
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2022-04-05drm/panel: innolux-ej030na and abt-y030xx067a: add .enable and .disableChristophe Branchereau1-3/+27
Following the introduction of bridge_atomic_enable in the ingenic drm driver, the crtc is enabled between .prepare and .enable, if it exists. Add it so the backlight is only enabled after the crtc is, to avoid graphical issues. As we're moving the "sleep out" command out of the init sequence into .enable for the ABT, we need to switch the regmap cache to REGCACHE_FLAT to be able to use regmap_set_bits, given this panel registers are write-ony and read as 0. 2022-02-09spi: make remove callback a void functionUwe Kleine-König1-3/+1
The value returned by an spi driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before. 2021-10-14drm/panel: y030xx067a: Make use of the helper function dev_err_probe()Cai Huoqing1-8/+6
When possible use dev_err_probe help to properly deal with the PROBE_DEFER error, the benefit is that DEFER issue will be logged in the devices_deferred debugfs file. And using dev_err_probe() can reduce code size, the error value gets printed.
