We can't be setting the display_id register to an invalid value
because that makes our device reset the fb which causes nasty
flicker (due to destruction and creation of a new fb).
Also we can't be using the BITS_PER_PIXEL register if the
8BIT_EMULATION is not supported.

Lets try to cleanup the usage of the term FIFO which we used for
both our MMIO based cmd queue processing and for general
command processing which could have been using command buffers
interface. We're going to rename the functions which are processing
commands (and work either via MMIO or command buffers) as _cmd_
and functions which operate on the MMIO based commands as FIFO
to match the SVGA device naming.

Going forward the svga device might reuse mmio for general
register accesses, in order to prepare for that we need to
cleanup our naming and handling of fifo specific mmio reads
and writes. As part of this work lets switch to managed
mapping of the fifo mmio to make the error handling cleaner.

Based on an idea from Dave, but cleaned up a bit.
We had multiple fields for essentially the same thing.
Now bo->base.size is the original size of the BO in
arbitrary units, usually bytes.
bo->mem.num_pages is the size in number of pages in the
resource domain of bo->mem.mem_type.

The current atomic helpers have either their object state being passed as
an argument or the full atomic state.
The former is the pattern that was done at first, before switching to the
latter for new hooks or when it was needed.
Let's start convert all the remaining helpers to provide a consistent
interface, starting with the CRTC's atomic_begin and atomic_flush.
The conversion was done using the coccinelle script below, built tested on
all the drivers and actually tested on vc4.

These if statements are supposed to be true if we ended the
list_for_each_entry() loops without hitting a break statement but they
don't work.
In the first loop, we increment "i" after the "if (i == unit)" condition
so we don't necessarily know that "i" is not equal to unit at the end of
the loop.
In the second loop we exit when mode is not pointing to a valid
drm_display_mode struct so it doesn't make sense to check "mode->type".

Currently we flag resources as dirty (GPU contents not yet read back to
the backing MOB) whenever they have been part of a command stream.
Obviously many resources can't be dirty and others can only be dirty when
written to by the GPU. That is when they are either bound to the context as
render-targets, depth-stencil, copy / clear destinations and
stream-output targets, or similarly when there are corresponding views into
them.
So mark resources dirty only in these special cases. Context- and cotable
resources are always marked dirty when referenced.
This is important for upcoming emulated coherent memory, since we can avoid
issuing automatic readbacks to non-dirty resources when the CPU tries to
access part of the backing MOB.
Testing: Unigine Heaven with max GPU memory set to 256MB resulting in
heavy resource thrashing.

Mostly code reorganizations and optimizations for vmwgfx.
- Move TTM code that's only used by vmwgfx to vmwgfx
- Break out the vmwgfx buffer- and resource validation code to a separate source file
- Get rid of a number of atomic operations during command buffer validation.

SVGA_REG_SCREENTARGET_MAX_WIDTH/HEIGHT registers so add that limit
during atomic check_modeset.
An additional limit is placed in the update_layout ioctl to avoid

During atomic check to prepare the new topology no need to check if
old_crtc_state was enabled or not. This will cause atomic_check to fail
because due to connector routing a crtc can be in atomic_state even if
there was no change to enable status.
