Mostly the same as i915. We add a new hint for userspace to force an
object into the mappable part of vram.
We also need to tell userspace how large the mappable part is. In Vulkan
for example, there will be two vram heaps for small-bar systems. And
here the size of each heap needs to be known. Likewise the used/avail
tracking needs to account for the mappable part.
We also limit the available tracking going forward, such that we limit
to privileged users only, since these values are system wide and are
technically considered an info leak.
v2 (Maarten):
- s/NEEDS_CPU_ACCESS/NEEDS_VISIBLE_VRAM/ in the uapi. We also no
longer require smem as an extra placement. This is more flexible,
and lets us use this for clear-color surfaces, since we need CPU access
there but we don't want to attach smem, since that effectively disables
CCS from kernel pov.
- Reject clear-color CCS buffers where NEEDS_VISIBLE_VRAM is not set,
instead of migrating it behind the scenes.
v3 (José):
- Split the changes that limit the accounting for perfmon_capable()
into a separate patch.
- Use XE_BO_CREATE_VRAM_MASK.

- Add some kernel-doc for the query bits.

- One small kernel-doc correction. The cpu_visible_size and
corresponding used tracking are always zero for non
XE_MEM_REGION_CLASS_VRAM.

- Without perfmon_capable() it likely makes more sense to report as
zero, instead of reporting as used == total size. This should give
similar behaviour as i915 which rather tracks free instead of used.
- Only enforce NEEDS_VISIBLE_VRAM on rc_ccs_cc_plane surfaces when the
device is actually small-bar.

Add the new flag XE_BO_NEEDS_CPU_ACCESS, to force allocating in the
mappable part of vram. If no flag is specified we do a topdown
allocation, to limit the chances of stealing the precious mappable part,
if we don't need it. If this is a full-bar system, then this all gets
nooped.
For kernel users, it looks like xe_bo_create_pin_map() is the central
place which users should call if they want CPU access to the object, so
add the flag there.
We still need to plumb this through for userspace allocations. Also it
looks like page-tables are using pin_map(), which is less than ideal. If
we can already use the GPU to do page-table management, then maybe we
should just force that for small-bar.

Current size member of vram struct does not give
complete information as what "size" contains. Does
it contain reserved portions or not. Name it usable
size and accordingly describe other size members as
well.

On platforms with VRAM, the VRAM is associated with the tile, not the
GT.

Copy this from i915. We need .compatible for vram -> vram transfers, so
they don't just get nooped by ttm, if need to move something from
mappable to non-mappble or vice versa. The .intersects is needed for
eviction, to determine if a victim resource is worth eviction. e.g if we
need mappable space there is no point in evicting a resource that has
zero mappable pages.

Replace the allocation code with the i915 version. This simplifies the
code a little, and importantly we get the accounting at the mgr level,
which is useful for debug (and maybe userspace), plus per resource
tracking so we can easily check if a resource is using one or pages in
the mappable part of vram (useful for eviction), or if the resource is
completely within the mappable portion (useful for checking if the
resource can be safely CPU mapped).

Hopefully not needed anymore. We can add a .compatible() hook once we
need to differentiate between mappable and non-mappable vram. If the
allocation is not contiguous then the start value is kind of
meaningless, so rather just mark as invalid.
In upstream, TTM wants to eventually remove the ttm_resource.start
usage.

Sort includes and split them in blocks:
1) .h corresponding to the .c. Example: xe_bb.c should have a "#include
"xe_bb.h" first.
2) #include <linux/...>
3) #include <drm/...>
4) local includes
5) i915 includes
This is accomplished by running
`clang-format --style=file -i --sort-includes drivers/gpu/drm/xe/*.[ch]`
and ignoring all the changes after the includes. There are also some
manual tweaks to split the blocks.

This adds support for stolen memory, with the same allocator as
vram_mgr. This allows us to skip a whole lot of copy-paste,
by re-using parts of xe_ttm_vram_mgr.
The stolen memory may be bound using VM_BIND, so it performs like any
other memory region.
We should be able to map a stolen BO directly using the physical memory
location instead of through GGTT even on old platforms, but I don't know
what the effects are on coherency.

Xe, is a new driver for Intel GPUs that supports both integrated and
discrete platforms starting with Tiger Lake (first Intel Xe Architecture).
The code is at a stage where it is already functional and has experimental
support for multiple platforms starting from Tiger Lake, with initial
support implemented in Mesa (for Iris and Anv, our OpenGL and Vulkan
drivers), as well as in NEO (for OpenCL and Level0).
The new Xe driver leverages a lot from i915.
As for display, the intent is to share the display code with the i915
driver so that there is maximum reuse there. But it is not added
in this patch.
This initial work is a collaboration of many people and unfortunately
the big squashed patch won't fully honor the proper credits. But let's
get some git quick stats so we can at least try to preserve some of the
credits:
