2023-04-04drm/tegra: Allow compile test on !ARM v2Christian König1-1/+1
This compile tests on x86 just perfectly fine. v2: fix missing include complained by kernel test robot Signed-off-by: Christian König <christian.koenig@amd.com> CC: Thierry Reding <thierry.reding@gmail.com> CC: Jonathan Hunter <jonathanh@nvidia.com> CC: linux-tegra@vger.kernel.org Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2022-06-01gpu: host1x: Add context busMikko Perttunen1-0/+5
The context bus is a "dummy" bus that contains struct devices that correspond to IOMMU contexts assigned through Host1x to processes. Even when host1x itself is built as a module, the bus is registered in built-in code so that the built-in ARM SMMU driver is able to reference it. 2019-11-01gpu: host1x: Unconditionally select IOMMU_IOVAThierry Reding1-1/+1
Currently configurations can be generated where IOMMU_SUPPORT is disabled but IOMMU_IOVA is built as a module and HOST1X as built-in. In such a case, the symbols guarded by IOMMU_IOVA will not be available when linking the host1x driver and cause a linking failure. Simplify this by unconditionally selecting IOMMU_IOVA, which makes sure that it will be forced to =y if HOST1X=y. Technically we can now get IOMMU_IOVA code built-in even if we don't use it (host1x only uses it when IOMMU_SUPPORT is also enabled), but such configuration are of a mostly academic nature. In all practical configurations we want IOMMU support anyway. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner1-0/+1
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-05-18gpu: host1x: select IOMMU_IOVAArnd Bergmann1-0/+1
When IOMMU_IOVA is not built-in but host1x is, we get a link error: drivers/gpu/host1x/dev.o: In function `host1x_remove': dev.c:(.text.host1x_remove+0x50): undefined reference to `put_iova_domain' drivers/gpu/host1x/dev.o: In function `host1x_probe': dev.c:(.text.host1x_probe+0x31c): undefined reference to `init_iova_domain' dev.c:(.text.host1x_probe+0x38c): undefined reference to `put_iova_domain' drivers/gpu/host1x/cdma.o: In function `host1x_cdma_init': cdma.c:(.text.host1x_cdma_init+0x238): undefined reference to `alloc_iova' cdma.c:(.text.host1x_cdma_init+0x2c0): undefined reference to `__free_iova' drivers/gpu/host1x/cdma.o: In function `host1x_cdma_deinit': cdma.c:(.text.host1x_cdma_deinit+0xb0): undefined reference to `free_iova' This adds the same select statement that we have for drm_tegra. 2013-12-19gpu: host1x: Increase compile test coverageThierry Reding1-1/+1
The ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM dependency was introduced back when Tegra didn't support multiplatform yet as a means to allow the driver to be easily compile-tested along with other DRM drivers. In the meantime, the new COMPILE_TEST Kconfig option has been introduced for exactly that purpose, so use that instead to clarify the intention. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>

2013-04-22gpu: host1x: Add host1x driverTerje Bergstrom1-0/+10
Add host1x, the driver for host1x and its client unit 2D. The Tegra host1x module is the DMA engine for register access to Tegra's graphics- and multimedia-related modules. The modules served by host1x are referred to as clients. host1x includes some other functionality, such as synchronization.
