2024-05-14Input: drop explicit initialization of struct i2c_device_id::driver_data to 0Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
These drivers don't use the driver_data member of struct i2c_device_id, so don't explicitly initialize this member. This prepares putting driver_data in an anonymous union which requires either no initialization or named designators. But it's also a nice cleanup on its own. While add it, also remove commas after the sentinel entries. 2023-05-17Input: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2022-12-08Input: mpr121-touchkey - switch to DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() and pm_sleep_ptr()Jonathan Cameron1-4/+4
SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() is deprecated as it requires explicit protection against unused function warnings. The new combination of pm_sleep_ptr() and DEFINE_SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS() allows the compiler to see the functions, thus suppressing the warning, but still allowing the unused code to be removed. Thus also drop the __maybe_unused markings. 2022-12-03Input: mpr121_touchkey - Convert to i2c's .probe_new()Uwe Kleine-König1-3/+2
The probe function doesn't make use of the i2c_device_id * parameter so it can be trivially converted. 2021-09-23Input: mpr121 - make use of the helper function devm_add_action_or_reset()Cai Huoqing1-2/+2
The helper function devm_add_action_or_reset() will internally call devm_add_action(), and if devm_add_action() fails then it will execute the action mentioned and return the error code. So use devm_add_action_or_reset() instead of devm_add_action() to simplify the error handling, reduce the code. 2017-01-16Input: mpr121 - switch to device tree probeAkinobu Mita1-43/+94
This driver currently only supports legacy platform data probe. This change adds device tree support and gets rid of platform data probe code since no one is actually using mpr121 platform data in the mainline. The device tree property parsing code is based on the work of atmel_captouch driver. Signed-off-by: Akinobu Mita <akinobu.mita@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2017-01-16Input: mpr121 - handle multiple bits change of status registerAkinobu Mita1-9/+14
This driver reports input events on their interrupts which are triggered by the sensor's status register changes. But only single bit change is reported in the interrupt handler. So if there are multiple bits are changed at almost the same time, other press or release events are ignored. This fixes it by detecting all changed bits in the status register. 2017-01-16Input: mpr121 - set missing event capabilityAkinobu Mita1-0/+1
This driver reports misc scan input events on the sensor's status register changes. But the event capability for them was not set in the device initialization, so these events were ignored. 2012-07-05Input: request threaded-only IRQs with IRQF_ONESHOTLars-Peter Clausen1-1/+1
Since commit 1c6c69525b ("genirq: Reject bogus threaded irq requests") threaded IRQs without a primary handler need to be requested with IRQF_ONESHOT, otherwise the request will fail. This patch adds the IRQF_ONESHOT to input drivers where it is missing. Not modified by this patch are those drivers where the requested IRQ will always be a nested IRQ (e.g. because it's part of an MFD), since for this special case IRQF_ONESHOT is not required to be specified when requesting the IRQ. 2011-06-29Input: mpr121 - improve sensibility of touch keyJiejing Zhang1-4/+12
The Quick Charge bit in Electrode conf register should be set in init function. This bit was missed in chip's document, which may cause touch controller charge too slow to generate an interrupt. Also, adjust the default vlaue of touch and release threshold to make touch key more sensitive, this fix touch may not sensitive after setup with plastic case.
