2017-01-22Input: misc - drop calls to platform_set_drvdata and i2c_set_clientdataGuenter Roeck1-2/+0
There is no call to i2c_get_clientdata(), platform_get_drvdata(), or dev_get_drvdata() in any of the drivers in this patch. Signed-off-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2016-12-01Input: arizona-haptics - Use SoC component pin control functionsRichard Fitzgerald1-4/+9
The name of a codec pin can have an optional prefix string, which is defined by the SoC machine driver. The snd_soc_dapm_x_pin functions take the fully-specified name including the prefix and so the existing code would fail to find the pin if the audio machine driver had added a prefix. Switch to using the snd_soc_component_x_pin equivalent functions that take a specified SoC component and automatically add the name prefix to the provided pin name. 2016-04-17Input: arizona-haptic - don't assign input_dev parentCharles Keepax1-1/+0
We shouldn't assign the parent device of the input_dev to be the parent MFD device, because this will be used for devres which causes input_unregister_device to run after the haptics device has been removed, since it is itself a child of the MFD device. The default of using the haptics device itself as the parent is correct. Signed-off-by: Charles Keepax <ckeepax@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2015-12-03Input: arizona-haptic - fix disabling of haptics deviceCharles Keepax1-2/+1
A small copy and paste error was preventing the haptics device being disabled. This patch corrects the value written on disable. Signed-off-by: Charles Keepax <ckeepax@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
2015-07-24Input: arizona-haptic - convert to use managed input devicesDmitry Torokhov1-22/+4
Using managed input device (via devm_input_allocate_device) simplifies error handling and driver removal paths and also silences CID# 712569. Reviewed-by: Joshua Clayton <stillcompiling@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>

A platform_driver does not need to set an owner, it will be populated by the driver core. Signed-off-by: Wolfram Sang <wsa@the-dreams.de>
2014-02-20ASoC: dapm: Add locking to snd_soc_dapm_xxxx_pin functionsCharles Keepax1-16/+0
The snd_soc_dapm_xxxx_pin all require the dapm_mutex to be held when they are called as they edit the dirty list, however very few of the callers do so. This patch adds unlocked versions of all the functions replacing the existing implementations with one that holds the lock internally. We also fix up the places where the lock was actually held on the caller side. 2014-02-20Input - arizona-haptics: Fix double lock of dapm_mutexCharles Keepax1-7/+4
snd_soc_dapm_sync takes the dapm_mutex internally, but we currently take it externally as well. This patch fixes this. Signed-off-by: Charles Keepax <ckeepax@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org> Cc: stable@vger.kernel.org
2012-11-28Input - arizona-haptics: Add driver haptics module on Arizona CODECsMark Brown1-0/+255
The Arizona CODECs contain a haptics module providing vibration feedback support. Implement basic support for this, providing simple start/stop and signal magnitude control. Since the output path for haptics is routed through the CODEC audio routing it is modelled as a signal generator within ASoC, the haptics driver calls DAPM to start and stop the output drivers. An appropriate output path must be configured via ALSA to connect the haptics source to the correct output. Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
