2023-02-13irqchip/alpine-msi: Use irq_domain_add_hierarchy()Johan Hovold1-5/+3
Use the irq_domain_add_hierarchy() helper to create the hierarchical domain, which both serves as documentation and avoids poking at irqdomain internals. 2023-02-05irqchip/alpine-msi: Fix refcount leak in alpine_msix_init_domainsMiaoqian Lin1-0/+1
of_irq_find_parent() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, We should use of_node_put() on it when not needed anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak. 2021-07-26irqchip/alpine-msi: Switch to bitmap_zalloc()Andy Shevchenko1-4/+2
Switch to bitmap_zalloc() to show clearly what we are allocating. Besides that it returns pointer of bitmap type instead of opaque void *. 2020-12-11irqchip/alpine-msi: Fix freeing of interrupts on allocation error pathMarc Zyngier1-2/+1
The alpine-msi driver has an interesting allocation error handling, where it frees the same interrupts repeatedly. Hilarity follows. This code is probably never executed, but let's fix it nonetheless. 2018-06-13treewide: kzalloc() -> kcalloc()Kees Cook1-1/+2
The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This patch replaces cases of: kzalloc(a * b, gfp) with: kcalloc(a * b, gfp) as well as handling cases of: kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp) with: kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp) as it's slightly less ugly than: kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp) This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like: kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp) though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion. Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were dropped, since they're redundant. The Coccinelle script used for this was: // Fix redundant parens around sizeof(). @@ type TYPE; expression THING, E; @@ ( kzalloc( - (sizeof(TYPE)) * E + sizeof(TYPE) * E , ...) | kzalloc( - (sizeof(THING)) * E + sizeof(THING) * E , ...) ) // Drop single-byte sizes and redundant parens. @@ expression COUNT;
