2015-09-16irqchip: Kill off set_irq_flags usageRob Herring1-1/+0
set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows: IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in .map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some users also modify IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it is not clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of blind copy and paste of this code. 2015-07-12irqchip/vt8500: Use irq_set_handler_locked()Thomas Gleixner1-3/+3
Use irq_set_handler_locked() as it avoids a redundant lookup of the irq descriptor. Search and replacement was done with coccinelle: @@ struct irq_data *d; expression E1; @@ -__irq_set_handler_locked(d->irq, E1); +irq_set_handler_locked(d, E1); Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Cc: Jiang Liu <jiang.liu@linux.intel.com> Cc: Julia Lawall <julia.lawall@lip6.fr> Cc: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Cc: Jason Cooper <jason@lakedaemon.net>
2015-07-12irqchip: Prepare for local stub header removalJoel Porquet1-2/+1
The IRQCHIP_DECLARE macro moved to to 'include/linux/irqchip.h', so the local irqchip.h became an empty shell, which solely includes include/linux/irqchip.h Include the global header in all irqchip drivers instead of the local header, so we can remove it. 2015-05-05irqchip: Constify irq_domain_opsKrzysztof Kozlowski1-1/+1
The irq_domain_ops are not modified by the driver and the irqdomain core code accepts pointer to a const data. 2014-03-12irqchip: Remove asmlinkage from static functionsStephen Boyd1-2/+1
LTO patches add __visible to the asmlinkage define, causing compilation warnings like: drivers/irqchip/irq-gic.c:283:1: warning: 'externally_visible' attribute have effect only on public objects [-Wattributes] Drop asmlinkage here to avoid such warnings. 2013-07-05irqchip: vt8500: Staticize local symbolsAxel Lin1-2/+4
This driver is converted to use IRQCHIP_DECLARE and irqchip_init. vt8500_handle_irq() and vt8500_irq_init() are only referenced in this file, so make them static. 2013-04-13irqchip: vt8500: Convert arch-vt8500 to new irqchip infrastructureTony Prisk1-0/+259
This patch moves the arch-vt8500 irq code to drivers/irqchip and converts it to use the new IRQCHIP_DECLARE and irqchip_init. This allows the removal of some more functions from common.h Signed-off-by: Tony Prisk <linux@prisktech.co.nz> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
