2023-04-26mfd: various: Use of_property_present() for testing DT property presenceRob Herring1-1/+1
It is preferred to use typed property access functions (i.e. of_property_read_<type> functions) rather than low-level of_get_property/of_find_property functions for reading properties. As part of this, convert of_get_property/of_find_property calls to the recently added of_property_present() helper when we just want to test for presence of a property and nothing more. 2023-04-26mfd: bcm2835-pm: Remove MODULE_LICENSE in non-modulesNick Alcock1-1/+0
Since commit 8b41fc4454e ("kbuild: create modules.builtin without Makefile.modbuiltin or tristate.conf"), MODULE_LICENSE declarations are used to identify modules. As a consequence, uses of the macro in non-modules will cause modprobe to misidentify their containing object file as a module when it is not (false positives), and modprobe might succeed rather than failing with a suitable error message. So remove it in the files in this commit, none of which can be built as modules. 2022-07-04mfd: bcm2835-pm: Add support for BCM2711Stefan Wahren1-0/+13
In BCM2711 the new RPiVid ASB took over V3D. The old ASB is still present with the ISP and H264 bits, and V3D is in the same place in the new ASB as the old one. As per the devicetree bindings, BCM2711 will provide both the old and new ASB resources, so get both of them and pass them into 'bcm2835-power,' which will take care of selecting which one to use accordingly. Since the RPiVid ASB's resources were being provided prior to formalizing the bindings[1], also support the old DT files that didn't use 'reg-names.' 2022-07-04mfd: bcm2835-pm: Use 'reg-names' to get resourcesNicolas Saenz Julienne1-20/+41
If available in firmware, find resources by their 'reg-names' position instead of relying on hardcoded offsets. Care is taken to support old firmware nonetheless. 2019-01-09soc: bcm: bcm2835-pm: Add support for power domains under a new binding.Eric Anholt1-4/+32
This provides a free software alternative to raspberrypi-power.c's firmware calls to manage power domains. It also exposes a reset line, where previously the vc4 driver had to try to force power off the domain in order to trigger a reset. 2019-01-09bcm2835-pm: Move bcm2835-watchdog's DT probe to an MFD.Eric Anholt1-0/+64
The PM block that the wdt driver was binding to actually has multiple features we want to expose (power domains, reset, watchdog). Move the DT attachment to a MFD driver and make WDT probe against MFD.
