commit a99d21cefd351c8aaa20b83a3c942340e5789d45 upstream. We may get an empty response with zero length at the beginning of the driver start and get following UBSAN error. Since there is no content(SDRT_NONE) for the response, just return and skip the response handling to avoid this problem. 2023-01-18mmc: vub300: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()Yang Yingliang1-3/+8
[ Upstream commit 0613ad2401f88bdeae5594c30afe318e93b14676 ] mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host(), besides, the timer added before mmc_add_host() needs be del. And this patch fixes another missing call mmc_free_host() if usb_control_msg() fails. commit 3c0bb3107703d2c58f7a0a7a2060bb57bc120326 upstream. 2017-02-13mmc: vub300: Don't use mmc_card_present() when validating for inserted cardUlf Hansson1-4/+2
The mmc_card_present() function helps the mmc core to track an internal state of the card device. More importantly, it's not intended to be used by mmc host drivers to check for an inserted card. Therefore, let's stop using it and instead rely on checking for a valid pointer to a struct mmc_card, as it should be good enough.
