2023-03-17driver core: class: remove module * from class_create()Greg Kroah-Hartman1-1/+1
The module pointer in class_create() never actually did anything, and it shouldn't have been requred to be set as a parameter even if it did something. So just remove it and fix up all callers of the function in the kernel tree at the same time. Cc: "Rafael J. 2021-07-21MOST: cdev: rename 'mod_init' & 'mod_exit' functions to be module-specificRandy Dunlap1-4/+4
Rename module_init & module_exit functions that are named "mod_init" and "mod_exit" so that they are unique in both the System.map file and in initcall_debug output instead of showing up as almost anonymous "mod_init". This is helpful for debugging and in determining how long certain module_init calls take to execute. 2021-04-02drivers: most: use LIST_HEAD() for list_headShixin Liu1-2/+1
There's no need to declare a list and then init it manually, just use the LIST_HEAD() macro. Signed-off-by: Shixin Liu <liushixin2@huawei.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210329094015.66942-2-liushixin2@huawei.com Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2021-04-02drivers: most: use DEFINE_SPINLOCK() for spinlockShixin Liu1-2/+1
spinlock can be initialized automatically with DEFINE_SPINLOCK() rather than explicitly calling spin_lock_init().
