[ Upstream commit 1e7962114c10957fe4d10a15eb714578a394e90b ]
The current code only restores PTP tx_avail count when we get DMA
mapping errors. Fix it so that the PTP tx_avail count will be
restored for both DMA mapping errors and skb_pad() errors.
Otherwise PTP TX timestamp will not be available after a PTP
packet hits the skb_pad() error.

[ Upstream commit 730117730709992c9f6535dd7b47638ee561ec45 ]
I added OOM and netpoll discard counters, naively assuming that
the cpr pointer is pointing to a common completion ring.
Turns out that is usually *a* completion ring but not *the*
completion ring which bnapi->cp_ring points to. bnapi->cp_ring
is where the stats are read from, so we end up reporting 0
thru ethtool -S and qstat even though the drop events have happened.
Make 100% sure we're recording statistics in the correct structure.

We do not support two simultaneous recoveries so check for reset
flag, BNXT_STATE_IN_FW_RESET, and do not proceed with AER further.
When the pci channel state is pci_channel_io_frozen, the PCIe link
can not be trusted so we disable the traffic immediately and stop
BAR access by calling bnxt_fw_fatal_close(). BAR access after
AER fatal error can cause an NMI.

It is possible that during error recovery and firmware reset,
there is a pending TX PTP packet waiting for the timestamp.
We need to reset this condition so that after recovery, the
tx_avail count for PTP is reset back to the initial value.
Otherwise, we may not accept any PTP TX timestamps after
recovery.

[ Upstream commit c20f482129a582455f02eb9a6dcb2a4215274599 ]
We call bnxt_half_open_nic() to setup the chip partially to run
loopback tests. The rings and buffers are initialized normally
so that we can transmit and receive packets in loopback mode.
That means page pool buffers are allocated for the aggregation ring
just like the normal case. NAPI is not needed because we are just
polling for the loopback packets.
When we're done with the loopback tests, we call bnxt_half_close_nic()
to clean up. When freeing the page pools, we hit a WARN_ON()
in page_pool_unlink_napi() because the NAPI state linked to the
page pool is uninitialized.
The simplest way to avoid this warning is just to initialize the
NAPIs during half open and delete the NAPIs during half close.
Trying to skip the page pool initialization or skip linking of
NAPI during half open will be more complicated.
This fix avoids this warning:

[ Upstream commit c13e268c0768659cdaae4bfe2fb24860bcc8ddb4 ]
When the chip is configured to timestamp all receive packets, the
timestamp in the RX completion is only valid if the metadata
present flag is not set for packets received on the wire. In
addition, internal loopback packets will never have a valid timestamp
and the timestamp field will always be zero. We must exclude
any 0 value in the timestamp field because there is no way to
determine if it is a loopback packet or not.

All callers of build_skb() (*) in bnxt are in NAPI context.
The budget checking is somewhat convoluted because in the shared
completion queue cases Rx packets are discarded by netpoll
by forcing an error (E). But that happens before skb allocation.
Only a call chain starting at __bnxt_poll_work() can lead to
an skb allocation and it checks budget (b).

If we are doing a complete reset with irq_re_init set to true in
bnxt_close_nic(), all the ring structures will be freed. New
structures will be allocated in bnxt_open_nic(). The current code
increments rx_resets counter in bnxt_enable_napi() if bnapi->in_reset

The RXBD length field on all bnxt chips is 16-bit and so we cannot
support a full page when the native page size is 64K or greater.
The non-XDP (non page pool) code path has logic to handle this but
the XDP page pool code path does not handle this. Add the missing
logic to use page_pool_dev_alloc_frag() to allocate 32K chunks if

Similarly to other recently fixed drivers make sure we don't
try to access XDP or page pool APIs when NAPI budget is 0.
NAPI budget of 0 may mean that we are in netpoll.
This may result in running software IRQs in hard IRQ context,
leading to deadlocks or crashes.
To make sure bnapi->tx_pkts don't get wiped without handling
the events, move clearing the field into the handler itself.
Remember to clear tx_pkts after reset (bnxt_enable_napi())
as it's technically possible that netpoll will accumulate
some tx_pkts and then a reset will happen, leaving tx_pkts
out of sync with reality.

Invalid Tx completions should never happen (tm) but when they do
they crash the host, because driver blindly trusts that there is
a valid skb pointer on the ring.
The completions I've seen appear to be some form of FW / HW
miscalculation or staleness, they have typical (small) values
(<100), but they are most often higher than number of queued
descriptors. They usually happen after boot.
Instead of crashing, print a warning and schedule a reset.

As per the new udp tunnel framework, drivers which need to know the
details of a port entry (i.e. port type) when it gets deleted should
use the .set_port / .unset_port callbacks.
Implementing the current .udp_tunnel_sync callback would mean that the
deleted tunnel port entry would be all zeros. This used to work on
older firmware because it would not check the input when deleting a
tunnel port. With newer firmware, the delete will now fail and
subsequent tunnel port allocation will fail as a result.

We need to call bnxt_hwrm_func_qcfg() on a VF to query the default
VLAN that may be setup by the PF. If a default VLAN is enabled,
the VF cannot support VLAN acceleration on the receive side and
the VNIC must be setup to strip out the default VLAN tag. If a
default VLAN is not enabled, the VF can support VLAN acceleration
on the receive side. The VNIC should be set up to strip or not
strip the VLAN based on the RX VLAN acceleration setting.
Without this call to determine the default VLAN before calling
bnxt_setup_vnic(), the VNIC may not be set up correctly. For
example, bnxt_setup_vnic() may set up to strip the VLAN tag based
on stale default VLAN information. If RX VLAN acceleration is
not enabled, the VLAN tag will be incorrectly stripped and the
RX data path will not work correctly.

skb_frag_size_set() to fill the page desc for a skb frag.
Introduce skb_frag_fill_page_desc() to do that.
net/bpf/test_run.c does not call skb_frag_off_set() to
set the offset, "copy_from_user(page_address(page), ...)"
and 'shinfo' being part of the 'data' kzalloced in

The driver does not support PTP on these older chips and it is assuming
that firmware on these older chips will not return the
PORT_MAC_PTP_QCFG_RESP_FLAGS_HWRM_ACCESS flag in __bnxt_hwrm_ptp_qcfg(),
causing the function to abort quietly.
But newer firmware now sets this flag and so __bnxt_hwrm_ptp_qcfg()
will proceed further. Eventually it will fail in bnxt_ptp_init() ->
bnxt_map_ptp_regs() because there is no code to support the older chips.
The driver will then complain:
"PTP initialization failed.\n"

Drivers call netdev_tx_completed_queue() right before
netif_txq_maybe_wake(). If BQL is enabled netdev_tx_completed_queue()
should issue a memory barrier, so we can depend on that separating
the stop check from the consumer index update, instead of adding
another barrier in netif_txq_maybe_wake().
This matters more than the barriers on the xmit path, because
the wake condition is almost always true. So we issue the
consumer side barrier often.
Wrap netdev_tx_completed_queue() in a local helper to issue
the barrier even if BQL is disabled. Keep the same semantics
as netdev_tx_completed_queue() (barrier only if bytes != 0)
to make it clear that the barrier is conditional.
Plus since macro gets pkt/byte counts as arguments now -
we can skip waking if there were no packets completed.

Convert bnxt to use new macros rather than open code the logic.
Two differences:
(1) bnxt_tx_int() will now only issue a memory barrier if it sees
enough space on the ring to wake the queue. This should be fine,
the mb() is between the writes to the ring pointers and checking
queue state.
(2) we'll start the queue instead of waking on race, this should
be safe inside the xmit handler.
