When disabling aRFS under the `priv->state_lock`, any scheduled
aRFS works are canceled using the `cancel_work_sync` function,
which waits for the work to end if it has already started.
However, while waiting for the work handler, the handler will
try to acquire the `state_lock` which is already acquired.
The worker acquires the lock to delete the rules if the state
is down, which is not the worker's responsibility since
disabling aRFS deletes the rules.
Add an aRFS state variable, which indicates whether the aRFS is
enabled and prevent adding rules when the aRFS is disabled.

coalescing
Channels can potentially have independent mdev instances. Do not refer to
the global mdev instance in the mlx5e_priv instance for channel FW
operations related to coalescing. CQ numbers that would be valid on the
channel's mdev instance may not be correctly referenced if using the
mlx5e_priv instance.

The cited patch introduces the concept of buckets in LAG in hash mode.
However, the patch doesn't clear the number of buckets in the LAG
deactivation. This results in using the wrong number of buckets in

mode LAG.
Hence, restore buckets number to default after hash mode LAG

When supporting more than 128 channels, the RQT size is
calculated by multiplying the number of channels by 2
and rounding up to the nearest power of 2.
The index of the RQT is derived from the RSS hash
calculations. If XOR8 is used as the RSS hash function,
there are only 256 possible hash results, and therefore,
only 256 indexes can be reached in the RQT.

When creating a new HTB class while the interface is down,
the variable that follows the number of QoS SQs (htb_max_qos_sqs)
may not be consistent with the number of HTB classes.
Previously, we compared these two values to ensure that

struct mlx5_pkt_reformat contains a naked union of a u32 id and a
dr_action pointer which is used when the action is SW-managed (when
pkt_reformat.owner is set to MLX5_FLOW_RESOURCE_OWNER_SW). Using id
directly in that case is incorrect, as it maps to the least significant
32 bits of the 64-bit pointer in mlx5_fs_dr_action and not to the pkt
reformat id allocated in firmware.
For the purpose of comparing whether two rules are identical,
interpreting the least significant 32 bits of the mlx5_fs_dr_action
pointer as an id mostly works... until it breaks horribly and produces
the outcome described in [1].
This patch fixes mlx5_flow_dests_cmp to correctly compare ids using
mlx5_fs_dr_action_get_pkt_reformat_id for the SW-managed rules.

Previously, add_rule_fg would only add newly created rules from the
handle into the tree when they had a refcount of 1. On the other hand,
create_flow_handle tries hard to find and reference already existing
identical rules instead of creating new ones.
These two behaviors can result in a situation where create_flow_handle
1) creates a new rule and references it, then
2) in a subsequent step during the same handle creation references it
again,
resulting in a rule with a refcount of 2 that is not linked into the
tree, will have a NULL parent and root and will result in a crash when
the flow group is deleted because del_sw_hw_rule, invoked on rule
deletion, assumes node->parent is != NULL.
This happened in the wild, due to another bug related to incorrect
handling of duplicate pkt_reformat ids, which lead to the code in
create_flow_handle incorrectly referencing a just-added rule in the same
flow handle, resulting in the problem described above. Full details are
at [1].
This patch changes add_rule_fg to add new rules without parents into
the tree, properly initializing them and avoiding the crash. This makes
it more consistent with how rules are added to an FTE in
create_flow_handle.

Next patch will move devlink register to be first. Therefore, whenever
mlx5 will register a param, the user will be notified.
In order to notify the user, devlink is using the get() callback of
the param. Hence, resources that are being used by the get() callback
must be set before the devlink param is registered.
Therefore, store eswitch pointer inside mdev before registering the
param.

During system shutdown, the mlxbf_gige driver's shutdown() is always executed.
However, the driver's stop() method will only execute if networking interface
configuration logic within the Linux distribution has been setup to do so.
If shutdown() executes but stop() does not execute, NAPI remains enabled
and this can lead to an exception if NAPI is scheduled while the hardware
interface has only been partially deinitialized.
The networking interface managed by the mlxbf_gige driver must be properly
stopped during system shutdown so that IFF_UP is cleared, the hardware
interface is put into a clean state, and NAPI is fully deinitialized.

The exception happens because there is a pending RX interrupt before the
call to request_irq(RX IRQ) executes. Then, the RX IRQ handler fires
immediately after this request_irq() completes. The RX IRQ handler runs
"napi_schedule()" before NAPI is fully initialized via "netif_napi_add()"
and "napi_enable()", both which happen later in the open() logic.
The logic in mlxbf_gige_open() must fully initialize NAPI before any calls
to request_irq() execute.

For resilient groups, we can reuse the same counter for all the buckets
that share the same nexthop. Keep a reference count per counter, and keep
all these counters in a per-next hop group xarray, which serves as a
NHID->counter cache. If a counter is already present for a given NHID, just
take a reference and use the same counter.

When hw_stats is set on a group, install nexthop counters on members of a
group.
Counter allocation request is moved from nexthop object initialization to
the update code. The previous placement made sense: when the counters are
enabled by dpipe, the counters are installed to all existing nexthops and
all nexthops created from then on get them. For the finer-grained nexthop
group statistics, this is unsuitable. The existing placement was kept for
the IPv4 and IPv6 nexthops.
Resilient group replacement emits a pre_replace notification, and then any
bucket_replace notifications if there were any replacements at all. If the
group is balanced and the nexthop composition of the replaced group didn't
change, there will be no such notifiers. Therefore hook to the pre_replace
notifier and mark all buckets for update, to un/install the counters.
When reporting deltas for resilient groups, use the nexthop ID that we
stored in a previous patch to look up to which nexthop a bucket
contributes.

The core interfaces for collecting per-NH statistics are built around
nexthops even for resilient groups. Because mlxsw models each bucket as a
nexthop, the core next hop that a given bucket contributes to needs to be
looked up. In order to be able to match the two up, we need to track
nexthop ID for members of group nexthop objects. For simplicity, do it for
all nexthop objects, not just group members.

Support Multi-PF netdev (Socket Direct)
This series adds support for combining multiple devices (PFs) of the
same port under one netdev instance. Passing traffic through different
devices belonging to different NUMA sockets saves cross-numa traffic and
allows apps running on the same netdev from different numas to still
feel a sense of proximity to the device and achieve improved
performance.
We achieve this by grouping PFs together, and creating the netdev only
once all group members are probed. Symmetrically, we destroy the netdev
once any of the PFs is removed.
The channels are distributed between all devices, a proper configuration
would utilize the correct close numa when working on a certain app/cpu.
We pick one device to be a primary (leader), and it fills a special
role. The other devices (secondaries) are disconnected from the network
in the chip level (set to silent mode). All RX/TX traffic is steered
through the primary to/from the secondaries.
Currently, we limit the support to PFs only, and up to two devices
(sockets).

1) Each TX TLS device offloaded context has its own TIS object. Extra work
is needed to get it working in a SD environment, where a stream can move
between different SQs (belonging to different mdevs).
2) Each RX TLS device offloaded context needs a DEK object from the DEK
pool.
Extra work is needed to get it working in a SD environment, as the DEK
pool currently falsely depends on TX cap, and is on the primary device
only.
Disallow this combination for now.

Each queue counter object counts some events (in hardware) for the RQs
that are attached to it, like events of packet drops due to no receive
WQE (rx_out_of_buffer).
Each RQ can be attached to a queue counter only within the same vhca. To
still cover all RQs with these counters, we create multiple instances,
one per vhca.
The result that's shown to the user is now the sum of all instances.

Implement driver support for the HW feature that allows RX steering of
one device to target other device's RQs.
In SD multi-pf netdev mode, we set the secondaries into silent mode,
disconnecting them from the network. This feature is then used to steer
traffic from the primary to the secondaries.

Distribute the channels between the different SD-devices to acheive
local numa node performance on multiple numas.
Each channel works against one specific mdev, creating all datapath
queues against it.
We distribute channels to mdevs in a round-robin policy.
Example for 2 mdevs and 6 channels:
+-------+---------+
| ch ix | mdev ix |
+-------+---------+
| 0 | 0 |
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 0 |
| 3 | 1 |
| 4 | 0 |
| 5 | 1 |
+-------+---------+
This round-robin distribution policy is preferred over another suggested
intuitive distribution, in which we first distribute one half of the
channels to mdev #0 and then the second half to mdev #1.
We prefer round-robin for a reason: it is less influenced by changes in
the number of channels. The mapping between channel index and mdev is
fixed, no matter how many channels the user configures. As the channel
stats are persistent to channels closure, changing the mapping every
single time would turn the accumulative stats less representing of the
channel's history.
Per-channel objects should stop using the primary mdev (priv->mdev)
directly, and instead move to using their own channel's mdev.

Integrate the SD library calls into the auxiliary_driver ops in
preparation for creating a single netdev for the multiple PFs belonging
to the same SD group.
SD is still disabled at this stage. It is enabled by a downstream patch
when all needed parts are implemented.
The netdev is created whenever the SD group, with all its participants,
are ready. It is later destroyed whenever any of the participating PFs
drops.

Implement the needed SD steering adjustments for the primary and
secondaries.
While the SD multiple PFs are used to avoid cross-numa memory, when it
comes to chip level all traffic goes only through the primary device.
The secondaries are forced to silent mode, to guarantee they are not
involved in any unexpected ingress/egress traffic.
In RX, secondary devices will not have steering objects. Traffic will be
steered from the primary device to the RQs of a secondary device using
advanced cross-vhca RX steering capabilities.
In TX, the primary creates a new TX flow table, which is aliased by the
secondaries.

Use devcom to communicate between the different devices. Add a new
devcom component type for this.
Each device registers itself to the devcom component <SD, group ID>.
Once all devices of a component are registered, the component becomes
ready, and a primary device is elected.
In principle, any of the devices can act as a primary, they are all
capable, and a random election would've worked. However, we aim to
achieve predictability and consistency, hence each group always choses
the same device, with the lowest PCI BUS number, as primary.

This patch updates the mlxbf_gige driver to support the
"get_pause_stats()" callback, which enables display of
pause frame counters via "ethtool -I -a oob_net0".
The pause frame counters are only enabled if the "counters_en"
bit is asserted in the LLU general config register. The driver
will only report stats, and thus overwrite the default stats
state of ETHTOOL_STAT_NOT_SET, if "counters_en" is asserted.

Older versions of GCC really want to know the full definition
of the type involved in rcu_assign_pointer().
struct dpll_pin is defined in a local header, net/core can't
reach it. Move all the netdev <> dpll code into dpll, where
the type is known. Otherwise we'd need multiple function calls
to jump between the compilation units.
This is the same problem the commit under fixes was trying to address,
but with rcu_assign_pointer() not rcu_dereference().
Some of the exports are not needed, networking core can't
be a module, we only need exports for the helpers used by
drivers.

occurs after populating the metadata_map
Just simply reordering the functions mlx5e_ptp_metadata_map_put and
mlx5e_ptpsq_track_metadata in the mlx5e_txwqe_complete context is not good
enough since both the compiler and CPU are free to reorder these two
functions. If reordering does occur, the issue that was supposedly fixed by
7e3f3ba97e6c ("net/mlx5e: Track xmit submission to PTP WQ after populating
metadata map") will be seen. This will lead to NULL pointer dereferences in
mlx5e_ptpsq_mark_ts_cqes_undelivered in the NAPI polling context due to the
tracking list being populated before the metadata map.
