This patch fixes iwl4965_mac_conf_tx. A mutex was taken in atomic context leading to Oops. This patch removes the mutex and extends the hold priv->lock. None of the field of QOS is accessed without priv->lock held. 2008-07-01iwlwifi: setup compressed BA handlerEmmanuel Grumbach1-2/+2
This patch sets the compressed BA handler for 5000. This allows the rate scaling algorithm to take in count frames that were sent in AMPDUs. The compressed BA handler has been moved to iwl-rx.c since it is common to 4965 and 5000. This patch introduces a new handler get_hw_cmd_size in hcmd_utils, which should adjust the size of the command sent to the microcode according to the current nic. It also changes the RXON flow to make usage of this new handler. The patch also adds iwl_rxon_cmd structure which is supperset for 5000 HW and 4965. The iwl3945 and iwl4965 devices share some common structure, but with a lot of difference split all over. Currently the two drivers share a lot of headers and use ugly preprocessor magic to manage the difference. This patch keeps two entirely separate copies of the headers to get rid of these hacks an ease future development.
