2023-03-07platform/x86: adv_swbutton: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König1-4/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. 2021-04-07platform/x86: add support for Advantech software defined buttonAndrea.Ho1-0/+121
Advantech sw_button is a ACPI event trigger button. With this driver, we can report KEY_PROG1 on the Advantech Tabletop Network Appliances products and it has been tested in FWA1112VC. Add the software define button support to report EV_REP key_event (KEY_PROG1) by pressing button that could be get on user interface and trigger the customized actions.
