2023-08-07iommu/mediatek: Add enable IOMMU SMC command for INFRA mastersChengci.Xu1-0/+1
Prepare for MT8188. In MT8188, the register which enables IOMMU for INFRA masters are in the secure world for security concerns, therefore we add a SMC command for INFRA masters to enable IOMMU in ATF. 2022-08-30memory: mtk-smi: Add enable IOMMU SMC command for MM masterChengci.Xu1-0/+5
For concerns about security, the register to enable/disable IOMMU of SMI LARB should only be configured in secure world. Thus, we add some SMC command for multimedia master to enable/disable MM IOMMU in ATF by setting the register of SMI LARB. This function is prepared for MT8188. 2021-02-01iommu/mediatek: Support master use iova over 32bitYong Wu1-0/+1
After extending v7s, our pagetable already support iova reach 16GB(34bit). the master got the iova via dma_alloc_attrs may reach 34bits, but its HW register still is 32bit. then how to set the bit32/bit33 iova? this depend on a SMI larb setting(bank_sel). we separate whole 16GB iova to four banks: bank: 0: 0~4G; 1: 4~8G; 2: 8-12G; 3: 12-16G; The bank number is (iova >> 32). We will preassign which bank the larbs belong to. currently we don't have a interface for master to adjust its bank number. Each a bank is a iova_region which is a independent iommu-domain. the iova range for each iommu-domain can't cross 4G. 2019-08-30memory: mtk-smi: Get rid of need_larbidYong Wu1-1/+0
The "mediatek,larb-id" has already been parsed in MTK IOMMU driver. It's no need to parse it again in SMI driver. Only clean some codes. This patch is fit for all the current mt2701, mt2712, mt7623, mt8173 and mt8183. After this patch, the "mediatek,larb-id" only be needed for mt2712 which have 2 M4Us. In the other SoCs, we can get the larb-id from M4U in which the larbs in the "mediatek, larbs" always are ordered. Correspondingly, the larb_nr in the "struct mtk_smi_iommu" could also be deleted. 2017-08-22iommu/mediatek: Add mt2712 IOMMU supportYong Wu1-1/+1
The M4U IP blocks in mt2712 is MTK's generation2 M4U which use the ARM Short-descriptor like mt8173, and most of the HW registers are the same. The difference is that there are 2 M4U HWs in mt2712 while there's only one in mt8173. The purpose of 2 M4U HWs is for balance the bandwidth. Normally if there are 2 M4U HWs, there should be 2 iommu domains, each M4U has a iommu domain. Signed-off-by: Yong Wu <yong.wu@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Joerg Roedel <jroedel@suse.de>
