2020-02-28Bluetooth: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array memberGustavo A. R. Silva1-5/+5
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2], introduced in C99: struct foo { int stuff; struct boo array[]; }; By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on. Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by this change: "Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1] This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle. 2015-07-30Bluetooth: Add BT_HS config optionArron Wang1-0/+19
Move A2MP Module under BT_HS config option and allow the user have flexible option to choose the feature only they need a2mp_discover_amp() & a2mp_channel_create() are a2mp module entry point for master and slave, and this is dynamic invoked depends on the userspace or remote request, then we defined their implementation depends on BT_HS config Signed-off-by: Arron Wang <arron.wang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org>
2015-02-15Bluetooth: Make __next_ident function static.Marcel Holtmann1-1/+0
The __next_ident function is a local function and so do not export it and make it static. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2015-02-15Bluetooth: Make a2mp_send function staticMarcel Holtmann1-1/+0
The a2mp_send function is a local function and so do not export it and make it static. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2015-02-15Bluetooth: Make amp_mgr_lookup_by_state function staticMarcel Holtmann1-1/+0
The amp_mgr_lookup_by_state function does not need to be exported. So just move it to a different location and make it static. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2015-02-15Bluetooth: Make amp_mgr_list and amp_mgr_list_lock staticMarcel Holtmann1-3/+0
There is no reason to have amp_mgr_list and amp_mgr_list_lock exported from a2mp.c and thus make both of them static. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2015-02-15Bluetooth: Move A2MP_FEAT_EXT declaration into A2MP sourceMarcel Holtmann1-2/+0
The A2MP_FEAT_EXT declaration has a single user in a2mp.c and thus just move it there. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
2013-10-11Bluetooth: Move a2mp.h header file into net/bluetooth/Marcel Holtmann1-0/+150
The a2mp.h header file is only used internally by the bluetooth.ko module and is not a public API. So make it local to the core Bluetooth module. Signed-off-by: Marcel Holtmann <marcel@holtmann.org> Signed-off-by: Johan Hedberg <johan.hedberg@intel.com>
