2023-10-09ASoC: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring1-1/+1
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it was merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2023-05-15ASoC: ak4118: Update to use new component control notify helperCharles Keepax1-9/+2
Update the driver to use the new ASoC core control notify helper. This also fixes a bug where the control would not be found if the CODEC was given a name prefix. 2023-05-08ASoC: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2022-06-27ASoC: ak*: Remove now redundant non_legacy_dai_naming flagCharles Keepax1-1/+0
The ASoC core has now been changed to default to the non-legacy DAI naming, as such drivers using the new scheme no longer need to specify the non_legacy_dai_naming flag. 2022-04-11ASoC: ak4*: use simple i2c probe functionStephen Kitt1-3/+2
The i2c probe functions here don't use the id information provided in their second argument, so the single-parameter i2c probe function ("probe_new") can be used instead. This avoids scanning the identifier tables during probes. 2020-11-26ASoC: ak4118: skip of_device_id table when !CONFIG_OFKrzysztof Kozlowski1-0/+2
The driver can match by multiple methods. Its of_device_id table is referenced via of_match_ptr() so it will be unused for !CONFIG_OF builds: sound/soc/codecs/ak4118.c:407:34: warning: ‘ak4118_of_match’ defined but not used [-Wunused-const-variable=] Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201125164452.89239-15-krzk@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>

2018-11-15ASoC: ak4118: Add support for AK4118 S/PDIF transceiverAdrien Charruel1-0/+438
The AK4118A is a digital audio transceiver supporting 8 input channels at 192kHz and with 24bits resolution. It converts the S/PDIF signal to I2S format and is configurable over I2C. This driver introduce a minimal support of the AK4118, like selecting the input channel, reading input frequency and detecting some errors.
