2013-10-01powerpc/83xx: gianfar_ptp: select 1588 clock source through dts fileAida Mynzhasova1-1/+17
Currently IEEE 1588 timer reference clock source is determined through hard-coded value in gianfar_ptp driver. This patch allows to select ptp clock source by means of device tree file node. For instance: fsl, cksel = <0>; for using external (TSEC_TMR_CLK input) high precision timer reference clock. Other acceptable values: <1> : eTSEC system clock <2> : eTSEC1 transmit clock <3> : RTC clock input When this attribute isn't used, eTSEC system clock will serve as IEEE 1588 timer reference clock. 2011-05-24ptp: Added a clock that uses the eTSEC found on the MPC85xx.Richard Cochran1-0/+54
The eTSEC includes a PTP clock with quite a few features. This patch adds support for the basic clock adjustment functions, plus two external time stamps, one alarm, and the PPS callback. 2011-01-31dt: Move device tree documentation out of powerpc directoryGrant Likely1-0/+76
The device tree is used by more than just PowerPC. Make the documentation directory available to all. v2: reorganized files while moving to create arch and driver specific directories. Signed-off-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Acked-by: Josh Boyer <jwboyer@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
