2023-07-24sh: mach-sh7763rdp: Assign FB_MODE_IS_UNKNOWN to struct fb_videomode.flagThomas Zimmermann1-1/+1
Assign FB_MODE_IS_UNKNOWN to sh7763fb_videomode.flag instead of FBINFO_FLAG_DEFAULT. Both are 0, so the stored value does not change. FBINFO_FLAG_DEFAULT is a flag for a framebuffer in struct fb_info. Flags for videomodes are prefixed with FB_MODE_. v3: * include board name in commit message (Adrian) v2: * assign FB_MODE_IS_UNKNOWN (Adrian) Signed-off-by: Thomas Zimmermann <tzimmermann@suse.de> Acked-by: Sam Ravnborg <sam@ravnborg.org> Acked-by: John Paul Adrian Glaubitz <glaubitz@physik.fu-berlin.de> Cc: Yoshinori Sato <ysato@users.sourceforge.jp> Cc: Rich Felker <dalias@libc.org> Cc: John Paul Adrian Glaubitz <glaubitz@physik.fu-berlin.de> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20230715185343.7193-9-tzimmermann@suse.de

2018-01-08sh_eth: remove sh_eth_plat_data::edmac_endianSergei Shtylyov1-1/+0
Since the commit 888cc8c20cf ("sh_eth: remove EDMAC_BIG_ENDIAN") (geez, I didn't realize that was 2 years ago!) the initializers in the SuperH platform code for the 'sh_eth_plat_data::edmac_endian' stopped to matter, so we can remove that field for good (not sure if it was ever useful -- SH7786 Ether has been reported to have the same EDMAC descriptor/register endiannes as configured for the SuperH CPU)... 2013-08-21sh_eth: remove 'register_type' field from 'struct sh_eth_plat_data'Sergei Shtylyov1-1/+0
Now that the 'register_type' field of the 'sh_eth' driver's platform data is not used by the driver anymore, it's time to remove it and its initializers from the SH platform code. Also move *enum* declaring values for this field from <linux/sh_eth.h> to the local driver's header file as they're only needed by the driver itself now... 2013-06-08sh_eth: get SH77{34|63} support out of #ifdefSergei Shtylyov1-1/+1
Get the SH77{34|63} specific code/data in the driver out of #ifdef by adding "sh7734-gether" and "sh7763-gether" to the platform driver's ID table. Note that we have to split the 'struct sh_eth_cpu_data' instance into two due to #ifdef inside it; note that we can kill the duplicate sh_eth_set_rate_gether(). Change the GEther platform device's name in the SH platform code accordingly. Signed-off-by: Sergei Shtylyov <sergei.shtylyov@cogentembedded.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2012-05-21sh: Kill off machvec IRQ hinting.Paul Mundt1-1/+0
Everything is using sparseirq these days, so we have no need to arbitrarily size nr_irqs ahead of time. The legacy IRQ pre-allocation likewise has no meaning for us, so that's killed off too. We now depend on nr_irqs expansion by the generic hardirq layer instead. It's also worth noting that the majority of boards had completely bogus values for their nr_irqs relative to their CPU and configurations, so this ends up correcting behaviour for quite a few platforms. 2011-03-17sh: modify platform_device for sh_eth driverYoshihiro Shimoda1-0/+6
A new parameter is added to sh_eth_plat_data. And the sh_eth driver needs additional memory resource if a module has TSU. Signed-off-by: Yoshihiro Shimoda <yoshihiro.shimoda.uh@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
2010-01-26sh: Mass ctrl_in/outX to __raw_read/writeX conversion.Paul Mundt2-25/+25
The old ctrl in/out routines are non-portable and unsuitable for cross-platform use. While drivers/sh has already been sanitized, there is still quite a lot of code that is not. This converts the arch/sh/ bits over, which permits us to flag the routines as deprecated whilst still building with -Werror for the architecture code, and to ensure that future users are not added. 2009-03-17sh: sh7763rdp: Change IRQ number for sh_eth of sh7763rdpNobuhiro Iwamatsu1-3/+7
IRQ for sh_eth of sh7763rdp became multi handling. Therefore, the IRQ number of sh_eth is changed, too. Signed-off-by: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu.nobuhiro@renesas.com> Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>

2008-07-29sh: Shuffle the board directories in to mach groups.Paul Mundt3-0/+174
This flattens out the board directories in to individual mach groups, we will use this for getting rid of unneeded directories, simplifying the build system, and becoming more coherent with the refactored arch/sh/include topology. Signed-off-by: Paul Mundt <lethal@linux-sh.org>
