2021-12-08x86: Prepare asm files for straight-line-speculationPeter Zijlstra1-3/+3
Replace all ret/retq instructions with RET in preparation of making RET a macro. Since AS is case insensitive it's a big no-op without RET defined. find arch/x86/ -name \*.S | while read file do sed -i 's/\<ret[q]*\>/RET/' $file done Signed-off-by: Peter Zijlstra (Intel) <peterz@infradead.org> Signed-off-by: Borislav Petkov <bp@suse.de> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20211204134907.905503893@infradead.org
2019-10-18x86/asm: Change all ENTRY+ENDPROC to SYM_FUNC_*Jiri Slaby1-6/+6
These are all functions which are invoked from elsewhere, so annotate them as global using the new SYM_FUNC_START and their ENDPROC's by SYM_FUNC_END. Make sure ENTRY/ENDPROC is not defined on X86_64, given these were the last users. Signed-off-by: Jiri Slaby <jslaby@suse.cz> Signed-off-by: Borislav Petkov <bp@suse.de> Reviewed-by: Rafael J.
