2024-02-07dmaengine: fsl-qdma: fix SoC may hang on 16 byte unaligned readPeng Ma1-1/+3
There is chip (ls1028a) errata: The SoC may hang on 16 byte unaligned read transactions by QDMA. Unaligned read transactions initiated by QDMA may stall in the NOC (Network On-Chip), causing a deadlock condition. Stalled transactions will trigger completion timeouts in PCIe controller. Workaround: Enable prefetch by setting the source descriptor prefetchable bit ( SD[PF] = 1 ). Implement this workaround. 2023-09-28dmaengine: fsl-qdma: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König1-3/+2
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove(). Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. 2023-08-01dmaengine: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring1-2/+2
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes.
