2018-11-05drm/amdkfd: Delete a duplicate statement in set_pasid_vmid_mapping()Yong Zhao1-2/+0
The same statement is later done in kgd_set_pasid_vmid_mapping(), so no need to do it in set_pasid_vmid_mapping(). Signed-off-by: Yong Zhao <Yong.Zhao@amd.com> Reviewed-by: Felix Kuehling <Felix.Kuehling@amd.com> Signed-off-by: Alex Deucher <alexander.deucher@amd.com>
2018-05-02drm/amdkfd: Use volatile MTYPE in default/alternate aperturesJay Cornwall1-1/+2
MTYPE_NC_NV (0) marks scalar/vector L1 cache lines as non-volatile. Cache lines loaded through these apertures are intended to be invalidated before (and sometimes during) a dispatch. The non-volatile qualifier prevents these cache lines from being distinguished from those loaded through the private aperture. Use MTYPE_NC (1) instead on both Gfx7 and Gfx8. This allows the compiler to use the BUFFER_WBINVL1_VOL instruction and is a precursor to automatic per-dispatch scalar/vector L1 volatile invalidation. 2015-07-20drm/amdkfd: Use generic defines in new amd headersOded Gabbay1-11/+0
This patch makes use of the new amd headers (that are part of the new amdgpu driver), instead of private defines. Signed-off-by: Oded Gabbay <oded.gabbay@gmail.com>

2015-01-03drm/amdkfd: Don't include header files from radeonOded Gabbay1-0/+13
Because amdkfd will need to work both with radeon and amdgpu, don't include header files that are in radeon's folder. Instead, use the common amd include folder and move amdkfd specific defines to amdkfd header files. 2014-07-17amdkfd: Add mqd_manager moduleBen Goz1-0/+221
The mqd_manager module handles MQD data structures. MQD stands for Memory Queue Descriptor, which is used by the H/W to keep the usermode queue state in memory. v3: Removed new typedefs Removed pragma pack 4 Remove cik_mqds.h file Changed lower_32/upper_32 calls to use linux macros Used new gart allocation functions Added documentation v4: Added missing initialization of the addr field in init_mqd() Setting the hqd persistent.preload_req bit ON so that when queues switches on/off, their context will kept and read from the mqd when the cp reassign them, and thus the dispatched workload context kept consistent without any interrupts. v5: Move amdkfd from drm/radeon/ to drm/amd/ Change format of mqd structure to match latest KV firmware Add support for AQL queues creation to enable working with open-source HSA runtime.
