The field paddr of struct drm_gem_dma_object holds a DMA address, which
might actually be a physical address. However, depending on the platform,
it can also be a bus address or a virtual address managed by an IOMMU.
Hence, rename the field to dma_addr, which is more applicable.
In order to do this renaming the following coccinelle script was used:
```
This patch is compile-time tested with:
```

Rename "GEM CMA" helpers to "GEM DMA" helpers - considering the
hierarchy of APIs (mm/cma -> dma -> gem dma) calling them "GEM
DMA" seems to be more applicable.
Besides that, commit e57924d4ae80 ("drm/doc: Task to rename CMA helpers")
requests to rename the CMA helpers and implies that people seem to be
confused about the naming.
In order to do this renaming the following script was used:
```
#!/bin/bash
DIRS="drivers/gpu include/drm Documentation/gpu"
REGEX_SYM_UPPER="[0-9A-Z_\-]"
REGEX_SYM_LOWER="[0-9a-z_\-]"
REGEX_GREP_UPPER="(${REGEX_SYM_UPPER}*)(GEM)_CMA_(${REGEX_SYM_UPPER}*)"
REGEX_SED_UPPER="s/${REGEX_GREP_UPPER}/\1\2_DMA_\3/g"
REGEX_SED_LOWER="s/${REGEX_GREP_LOWER}/\1\2_dma_\3/g"
# Find all upper case 'CMA' symbols and replace them with 'DMA'.
for ff in $(grep -RiHl "cma_obj" $DIRS)
do
sed -i -E "s/cma_obj/dma_obj/g" $ff
done
```
Only a few more manual modifications were needed, e.g. reverting the
following modifications in some DRM Kconfig files
- select CMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
+ select DMA if HAVE_DMA_CONTIGUOUS
as well as manually picking the occurrences of 'CMA'/'cma' in comments and
documentation which relate to "GEM CMA", but not "FB CMA".
Also drivers/gpu/drm/Makefile was fixed up manually after renaming
drm_gem_cma_helper.c to drm_gem_dma_helper.c.
This patch is compile-time tested building a x86_64 kernel with
`make allyesconfig && make drivers/gpu/drm`.

Many drivers reference the plane->state pointer in order to get the
current plane state in their atomic_update or atomic_disable hooks,
which would be the new plane state in the global atomic state since
_swap_state happened when those hooks are run.
Use the drm_atomic_get_new_plane_state helper to get that state to make it
more obvious.

drm_format_horz_chroma_subsampling and drm_format_vert_chroma_subsampling
are basically a lookup in the drm_format_info table plus an access to the
hsub and vsub fields of the appropriate entry.
Most drivers are using this function while having access to the entry
already, which means that we will perform an unnecessary lookup. Removing
the call to these functions is therefore more efficient.
Some drivers will not have access to that entry in the function, but in
this case the overhead is minimal (we just have to call drm_format_info()
to perform the lookup) and we can even avoid multiple, inefficient lookups
in some places that need multiple fields from the drm_format_info
structure.
This is amplified by the fact that most of the time the callers will have
to retrieve both the vsub and hsub fields, meaning that they would perform
twice the lookup.

logic
A new helper function(__drm_atomic_helper_plane_reset) has been added
for linking a plane with its state and resetting the core
properties(alpha, rotation, etc.) to their default values.
Use that instead of duplicating the logic.
__drm_atomic_helper_plane_reset initializes the alpha property to its
max value, which is defined by the drm core as DRM_BLEND_ALPHA_OPAQUE,
so nothing changes regarding the alpha value.

We want to get rid of plane->fb on atomic drivers. Stop looking at it.
Daniel pointed out that the drm_framebuffer_put() in the plane cleanup
indicates that the driver doesn't shut things down cleanly. To do
that we should be able to just call drm_atomic_helper_shutdown(). Not
really sure the current cleanup sequence is actually sane, but whatever.

This is the plumbing for supporting fb modifiers on planes. Modifiers
have already been introduced to some extent, but this series will extend
this to allow querying modifiers per plane. Based on this, the client to
enable optimal modifications for framebuffers.
This patch simply allows the DRM drivers to initialize their list of
supported modifiers upon initializing the plane.

Add DRM_MODE_ROTATE_ and DRM_MODE_REFLECT_ defines to the UAPI
as a convenience.
Ideally the DRM_ROTATE_ and DRM_REFLECT_ property ids are looked up
through the atomic API, but realizing that userspace is likely to take
shortcuts and assume that the enum values are what is sent over the
wire.
As a result these defines are provided purely as a convenience to
userspace applications.
Changes since v3:
- Switched away from past tense in comments
- Add define name change to previously mis-spelled DRM_REFLECT_X comment
- Improved the comment for the DRM_MODE_REFLECT_<axis> comment

An HLCDC layers in Atmel's nomenclature is either a DRM plane or a 'Post
Processing Layer' which can be used to output the results of the HLCDC
composition in a memory buffer.
atmel_hlcdc_layer.c was designed to be generic enough to be re-usable in
both cases, but we're not exposing the post-processing layer yet, and
even if we were, I'm not sure the code would provide the necessary tools
to manipulate this kind of layer.
Moreover, the code in atmel_hlcdc_{plane,layer}.c was designed before the
atomic modesetting API, and was trying solve the
check-setting/commit-if-ok/rollback-otherwise problem, which is now
entirely solved by the existing core infrastructure.
And finally, the code in atmel_hlcdc_layer.c is over-complicated compared
to what we really need. This rework is a good excuse to simplify it. Note
that this rework solves an existing resource leak (leading to a -EBUSY
error) which I failed to clearly identify.

Despite the documentation claim that cleanup_fb will match prior calls
to prepare_fb, in case of NULL framebuffers in the transitional helpers,
the code will skip the call to prepare_fb but not the corresponding
cleanup_fb call. This asymmetry in semantics is unnecessarily surprising
for developers transitioning drivers to atomic model, specially because
the final atomic handlers don't have the issue - the prepare_fb is
always called, despite the new state framebuffer being null.
The only current user of the transitional helper that doesn't take care
of null framebuffers explicitly inside the prepare_fb hook is
atmel_hlcdc, so we take special care to make sure we don't break
anything there.

v2: Fix commit message (Laurent)
Rebase due to earlier removal of many fb->pixel_format uses,
including the 'fb->format = drm_format_info(fb->format->format);'
snafu
v3: Adjusted the semantic patch a bit and regenerated due to code
changes

We have intel_rotation_90_or_270() in i915 to check if the rotation is
90 or 270 degrees. Similar checks are elsewhere in drm, so let's move
the helper into a central place and use it everwhere.
v2: Drop the BIT()
Convert all new intel_rotation_90_or_270() calls

The code is applying the same scaling for the X and Y components,
thus making the scaling feature only functional when both components
have the same scaling factor.
Do the s/_w/_h/ replacement where appropriate to fix vertical scaling.

The drivers have to modify the atomic plane state during the prepare_fb
callback so they track allocations, reservations and dependencies for
this atomic operation involving this fb. In particular, how else do we
set the plane->fence from the framebuffer!
