2022-08-16i2c: Make remove callback return voidUwe Kleine-König1-3/+1
The value returned by an i2c driver's remove function is mostly ignored. (Only an error message is printed if the value is non-zero that the error is ignored.) So change the prototype of the remove function to return no value. This way driver authors are not tempted to assume that passing an error to the upper layer is a good idea. All drivers are adapted accordingly. There is no intended change of behaviour, all callbacks were prepared to return 0 before. 2020-09-02macintosh: windfarm: remove detatch debug containing spelling mistakesColin Ian King1-2/+0
There are spelling mistakes in two debug messages. As recommended by Wolfram Sang, these can be removed as there is plenty of debug in the driver core. 2020-03-10macintosh: windfarm: fix MODINFO regressionWolfram Sang1-0/+7
Commit af503716ac14 made sure OF devices get an OF style modalias with I2C events. It assumed all in-tree users were converted, yet it missed some Macintosh drivers. Add an OF module device table for all windfarm drivers to make them automatically load again. As said in commit f2c2cbcc35d4 ("powerpc: Use pr_warn instead of pr_warning"), removing pr_warning so all logging messages use a consistent <prefix>_warn style. Let's do it. 2018-12-22macintosh: Use of_node_name_{eq, prefix} for node name comparisonsRob Herring1-2/+2
Convert string compares of DT node names to use of_node_name_{eq,prefix} helpers instead. This removes direct access to the node name pointer. This changes a single case insensitive node name comparison to case sensitive for "ata4". This is the only instance of a case insensitive comparison for all the open coded node name comparisons on powerpc. Searching the commit history, there doesn't appear to be any reason for it to be case insensitive. A couple of open coded iterating thru the child node names are converted to use for_each_child_of_node() instead.
