2024-05-06wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: trigger link selection after exiting EMLSRMiri Korenblit1-25/+1
If the reason for exiting EMLSR was a blocking reason, wait for the corresponding unblocking event: - if there is an ongoing scan - do nothing. Link selection will be triggered at the end of it. - If more than 30 seconds passed since the exit, trigger MLO scan, which will trigger link selection - If less then 30 seconds passed since exit, reuse the latest link selection result If the reason for exiting EMLSR was an exit reason (IWL_MVM_EXIT_*), schedule MLO scan in 30 seconds. The big thing in this pull request is that wireless subsystem is now almost free of sparse warnings. There's only one warning left in ath11k which was introduced in v6.9-rc1 and will be fixed via the wireless tree. Realtek drivers continue to improve, now we have support for RTL8922AE and RTL8723CS devices. ath11k also has long waited support for P2P. 2024-03-25wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: handle debugfs names more carefullyJohannes Berg1-4/+7
With debugfs=off, we can get here with the dbgfs_dir being an ERR_PTR(). Instead of checking for all this, which is often flagged as a mistake, simply handle the names here more carefully by printing them, then we don't need extra checks. Also, while checking, I noticed theoretically 'buf' is too small, so fix that size as well. 2023-10-23wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: add a per-link debugfsMiri Korenblit1-0/+46
Add a per-link debugfs entry in iwlmvm level so we can read/write link related parameters. Do it by implementing the link_add_debugfs API introduced by mac80211. Each entry will have a path like this: .../netdev:wlan0/link-X/iwlmvm/<file_name> for each link X. For non-MLD vifs this callback is called when the original vif debugfs dir is also created, so handle that case by not creating the 'iwlmvm' directory again. Note that we don't have to worry about the cleaning the iwlmvm/* directory as it is already done by mac80211 when removing the link (or netdev). 2023-03-30wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: vif preparation for MLOGregory Greenman1-7/+7
In MLO, some fields of iwl_mvm_vif should be defined in the context of a link. Define a separate structure for these fields and add a deflink object to hold it as part of iwl_mvm_vif. Non-MLO legacy code will use only deflink object while MLO related code will use the corresponding link from the link array. It follows the strategy applied in mac80211 for introducing MLO changes. The below spatch takes care of updating all driver code to access fields separated into MLD specific data structure via deflink (need to convert all references to the fields listed in var to deflink.var and also to take care of calls like iwl_mvm_vif_from_mac80211(vif)->field). @iwl_mld_vif@ struct iwl_mvm_vif *v; struct ieee80211_vif *vv; identifier fn; identifier var = {bssid, ap_sta_id, bcast_sta, mcast_sta, beacon_stats, smps_requests, probe_resp_data, he_ru_2mhz_block, cab_queue, phy_ctxt, queue_params}; @@ ( v-> - var + deflink.var | fn(vv)-> - var + deflink.var ) Signed-off-by: Gregory Greenman <gregory.greenman@intel.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230328104948.4896576f0a9f.Ifaf0187c96b9fe52b24bd629331165831a877691@changeid Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>

2019-04-18iwlwifi: mvm: properly check debugfs dentry before using itGreg Kroah-Hartman1-0/+5
debugfs can now report an error code if something went wrong instead of just NULL. So if the return value is to be used as a "real" dentry, it needs to be checked if it is an error before dereferencing it. This is now happening because of ff9fb72bc077 ("debugfs: return error values, not NULL"). If multiple iwlwifi devices are in the system, this can cause problems when the driver attempts to create the main debugfs directory again. Later on in the code we fail horribly by trying to dereference a pointer that is an error value. 2016-05-10iwlwifi: mvm: use helpers to get iwl_mvm_staSara Sharon1-6/+3
Getting the mvm station out of station id requires dereferencing the station id to get ieee80211_sta, then checking for pointer validity and only then extract mvm station out. Given that there are helpers to do it - use them instead of duplicating the code whenever we need only mvm station. 2016-04-12cfg80211: remove enum ieee80211_bandJohannes Berg1-3/+3
This enum is already perfectly aliased to enum nl80211_band, and the only reason for it is that we get IEEE80211_NUM_BANDS out of it. There's no really good reason to not declare the number of bands in nl80211 though, so do that and remove the cfg80211 one. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2016-03-30iwlwifi: add a debugfs hook for LQMAviya Erenfeld1-0/+85
Add debugfs entry named lqm_send_cmd for kicking a measurement. This hook takes the duration and the timeout as parameter. Signed-off-by: Aviya Erenfeld <aviya.erenfeld@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2016-02-01iwlwifi: mvm: support setting minimum quota from debugfsJohannes Berg1-0/+56
For debug purposes, allow setting minimum quota (for a single virtual interface) from debugfs. This is an absolute minimum, so it can only be set up to 95%. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2016-02-01iwlwifi: mvm: track low-latency sources separatelyJohannes Berg1-5/+14
To be able to test low-latency behaviour properly, split the different low-latency sources so that setting any one of them, for example from debugfs, is sufficient; this avoids getting the debug setting overwritten by other sources.
