2023-08-02fs: add CONFIG_BUFFER_HEADChristoph Hellwig1-0/+1
Add a new config option that controls building the buffer_head code, and select it from all file systems and stacking drivers that need it. For the block device nodes and alternative iomap based buffered I/O path is provided when buffer_head support is not enabled, and iomap needs a a small tweak to define the IOMAP_F_BUFFER_HEAD flag to 0 to not call into the buffer_head code when it doesn't exist. Otherwise this is just Kconfig and ifdef changes. 2023-01-26fs: build the legacy direct I/O code conditionallyChristoph Hellwig1-0/+1
Add a new LEGACY_DIRECT_IO config symbol that is only selected by the file systems that still use the legacy blockdev_direct_IO code, so that kernels without support for those file systems don't need to build the code. 2020-08-07ocfs2: replace HTTP links with HTTPS onesAlexander A. Klimov1-3/+3
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `xmlns`: For each link, `http://[^# ]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `gnu\.org/license`, nor `mozilla\.org/MPL`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2020-06-12ocfs2: fix build failure when TCP/IP is disabledTom Seewald1-1/+1
After commit 12abc5ee7873 ("tcp: add tcp_sock_set_nodelay") and commit c488aeadcbd0 ("tcp: add tcp_sock_set_user_timeout"), building the kernel with OCFS2_FS=y but without INET=y causes it to fail with: ld: fs/ocfs2/cluster/tcp.o: in function `o2net_accept_many': tcp.c:(.text+0x21b1): undefined reference to `tcp_sock_set_nodelay' ld: tcp.c:(.text+0x21c1): undefined reference to `tcp_sock_set_user_timeout' ld: fs/ocfs2/cluster/tcp.o: in function `o2net_start_connect': tcp.c:(.text+0x2633): undefined reference to `tcp_sock_set_nodelay' ld: tcp.c:(.text+0x2643): undefined reference to `tcp_sock_set_user_timeout' This is due to tcp_sock_set_nodelay() and tcp_sock_set_user_timeout() being declared in linux/tcp.h and defined in net/ipv4/tcp.c, which depend on TCP/IP being enabled. To fix this, make OCFS2_FS depend on INET=y which already requires NET=y.
