Igor Pylypiv <ipylypiv@google.com> says:
This patch series plumbs libata's request for a result taskfile
(ATA_QCFLAG_RESULT_TF) through libsas to pm80xx LLDD. Other libsas LLDDs
can start using the newly added return_fis_on_success as well, if needed.
For Command Duration Limits policy 0xD (command completes without an
error) libata needs FIS in order to detect the ATA_SENSE bit and read
the Sense Data for Successful NCQ Commands log (0Fh). pm80xx HBAs do
not return FIS on success by default, hence, the driver is updated to
set the RETFIS bit (Return FIS on good completion) when requested by
libsas.

Bart Van Assche <bvanassche@acm.org> says:
Hi Martin,
This patch includes the following changes, none of which should change the
functionality of the UFS host controller driver:
- Improve the kernel-doc headers further.
- Fix multiple W=2 compiler warnings.
- Simplify ufshcd_abort_all().
- Simplify the code for creating and parsing UFS Transport Protocol (UTP)
headers.
Please consider this patch series for the next merge window.
Thanks,
Bart.

commit dd0ff4d12dd2 ("bootmem: remove the vmemmap pages from kmemleak in
put_page_bootmem") fix an overlaps existing problem of kmemleak. But the
problem still existed when HAVE_BOOTMEM_INFO_NODE is disabled, because in
this case, free_bootmem_page() will call free_reserved_page() directly.
Fix the problem by adding kmemleak_free_part() in free_bootmem_page() when
HAVE_BOOTMEM_INFO_NODE is disabled.

Pull f2fs updates from Jaegeuk Kim:
"In this cycle, we've mainly investigated the zoned block device
support along with patches such as correcting write pointers between
f2fs and storage, adding asynchronous zone reset flow, and managing
the number of open zones.
Other than them, f2fs adds another mount option, "errors=x" to specify
how to handle when it detects an unexpected behavior at runtime.
Enhancements:
- support 'errors=remount-ro|continue|panic' mount option
- enforce some inode flag policies
- allow .tmp compression given extensions
- add some ioctls to manage the f2fs compression
- improve looped node chain flow
- avoid issuing small-sized discard commands during checkpoint
- implement an asynchronous zone reset
Bug fixes:
- fix deadlock in xattr and inode page lock
- fix and add sanity check in some error paths
- fix to avoid NULL pointer dereference f2fs_write_end_io() along
with put_super
- set proper flags to quota files
- fix potential deadlock due to unpaired node_write lock use

incl_srcpt has the limitation, mentioned in commit b4638af8885a ("net:
dsa: sja1105: always enable the INCL_SRCPT option"), that frames with a
MAC DA of 01:80:c2:xx:yy:zz will be received as 01:80:c2:00:00:zz unless
PTP RX timestamping is enabled.
The incl_srcpt option was initially unconditionally enabled, then that
changed with commit 42824463d38d ("net: dsa: sja1105: Limit use of
incl_srcpt to bridge+vlan mode"), then again with b4638af8885a ("net:
dsa: sja1105: always enable the INCL_SRCPT option"). Bottom line is that
it now needs to be always enabled, otherwise the driver does not have a
reliable source of information regarding source_port and switch_id for
link-local traffic (tag_8021q VLANs may be imprecise since now they
identify an entire bridging domain when ports are not standalone).
If we accept that PTP RX timestamping (and therefore, meta frame
generation) is always enabled in hardware, then that limitation could be
avoided and packets with any MAC DA can be properly received, because
meta frames do contain the original bytes from the MAC DA of their
associated link-local packet.
This change enables meta frame generation unconditionally, which also
has the nice side effects of simplifying the switch control path
(a switch reset is no longer required on hwtstamping settings change)
and the tagger data path (it no longer needs to be informed whether to
expect meta frames or not - it always does).

strlcpy() reads the entire source buffer first.
This read may exceed the destination size limit.
This is both inefficient and can lead to linear read
overflows if a source string is not NUL-terminated [1].
In an effort to remove strlcpy() completely [2], replace
strlcpy() here with strscpy().
No return values were used, so direct replacement is safe.

aarch64-linux-ld: drivers/infiniband/hw/bnxt_re/ib_verbs.o:(.rodata+0x1a8): undefined reference to `uverbs_destroy_def_handler'
The problem is that the 'bnxt_re_uapi_defs' structure is built
unconditionally and references a couple of functions that are never
really called in this configuration but instead require other functions
that are left out.
Adding an #ifdef around the new code, or a Kconfig dependency would
address this problem, but adding the compile-time check inside of the
UAPI_DEF_CHAIN_OBJ_TREE_NAMED() macro seems best because that also
addresses the problem in other drivers that may run into the same
dependency.

allowing for a VM to avoid the cost of hugepage splitting in the

- Arm FF-A proxy for pKVM, allowing a pKVM host to safely interact
with services that live in the Secure world. pKVM intervenes on
FF-A calls to guarantee the host doesn't misuse memory donated to
the hyp or a pKVM guest.
- Support for running the split hypervisor with VHE enabled, known as
'hVHE' mode. This is extremely useful for testing the split
hypervisor on VHE-only systems, and paves the way for new use cases
that depend on having two TTBRs available at EL2.

limitation and allow userspace to select a feature set consistent
with the CPU.

- Use a separate set of pointer authentication keys for the
hypervisor when running in protected mode, as the host is untrusted
at runtime.
- Ensure timer IRQs are consistently released in the init failure
