2023-05-08ASoC: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König1-1/+1
After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. 2017-04-05ASoC: sta529: Add OF device ID tableJavier Martinez Canillas1-0/+7
The driver doesn't have a struct of_device_id table but supported devices are registered via Device Trees. This is working on the assumption that a I2C device registered via OF will always match a legacy I2C device ID and that the MODALIAS reported will always be of the form i2c:<device>. But this could change in the future so the correct approach is to have an OF device ID table if the devices are registered via OF. 2016-08-08ASoC: codec duplicated callback function goes to component on sta529Kuninori Morimoto1-2/+4
codec driver and component driver has duplicated callback functions, and codec side functions are just copied to component side when register timing. This was quick-hack, but no longer needed. 2014-10-22ASoC: sta529: Cleanup manual bias level transitionsLars-Peter Clausen1-33/+2
Set the CODEC driver's suspend_bias_off flag rather than manually going to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF in suspend and SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY in resume. This makes the code a bit shorter and cleaner. Since the ASoC core now takes care of setting the bias level to SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF when removing the CODEC there is no need to do it manually anymore either. The manual transition to SND_SOC_BIAS_STANDBY at the end of CODEC probe() can also be removed as the core will automatically do this after the CODEC has been probed. According to the datasheet: S2PCFG0 (0x0A) BIT[3:1] DATA_FORMAT serial interface protocol format: 000: left Justified 001: I2S (default) 010: right justified 100: PCM no delay 101: PCM delay 111: DSP Thus fixes the defines for LEFT_J_DATA_FORMAT, I2S_DATA_FORMAT, and RIGHT_J_DATA_FORMAT. Also adds define for DATA_FORMAT_MSK.
