2024-01-03selftests/bpf: Attempt to build BPF programs with -Wsign-compareAlexei Starovoitov1-1/+1
GCC's -Wall includes -Wsign-compare while clang does not. Since BPF programs are built with clang we need to add this flag explicitly to catch problematic comparisons like: int i = -1; unsigned int j = 1; if (i < j) // this is false. long i = -1; unsigned int j = 1; if (i < j) // this is true. C standard for reference: - If either operand is unsigned long the other shall be converted to unsigned long. - Otherwise, if one operand is a long int and the other unsigned int, then if a long int can represent all the values of an unsigned int, the unsigned int shall be converted to a long int; otherwise both operands shall be converted to unsigned long int. - Otherwise, if either operand is long, the other shall be converted to long. - Otherwise, if either operand is unsigned, the other shall be converted to unsigned. Unfortunately clang's -Wsign-compare is very noisy. It complains about (s32)a == (u32)b which is safe and doen't have surprising behavior. This patch fixes some of the issues. It needs a follow up to fix the rest. 2023-05-14selftests/bpf: Correctly handle optlen > 4096Stanislav Fomichev1-2/+16
Even though it's not relevant in selftests, the people might still copy-paste from them. So let's take care of optlen > 4096 cases explicitly. 2021-10-08selftests/bpf: Remove SEC("version") from test progsDave Marchevsky1-1/+0
Since commit 6c4fc209fcf9d ("bpf: remove useless version check for prog load") these "version" sections, which result in bpf_attr.kern_version being set, have been unnecessary. Remove them so that it's obvious to folks using selftests as a guide that "modern" BPF progs don't need this section. 2020-01-21selftests: Use consistent include paths for libbpfToke Høiland-Jørgensen1-1/+1
Fix all selftests to include libbpf header files with the bpf/ prefix, to be consistent with external users of the library. Also ensure that all includes of exported libbpf header files (those that are exported on 'make install' of the library) use bracketed includes instead of quoted. To not break the build, keep the old include path until everything has been changed to the new one; a subsequent patch will remove that. 2019-08-18selftests/bpf: add sockopt clone/inheritance testStanislav Fomichev1-0/+97
Add a test that calls setsockopt on the listener socket which triggers BPF program. This BPF program writes to the sk storage and sets clone flag. Make sure that sk storage is cloned for a newly accepted connection. We have two cloned maps in the tests to make sure we hit both cases in bpf_sk_storage_clone: first element (sk_storage_alloc) and non-first element(s) (selem_link_map).
