2021-10-25selftests: mlxsw: Reduce test run timeIdo Schimmel1-6/+0
Instead of iterating over all the available trap policers, only perform the tests with three policers: The first, the last and the one in the middle of the range. On a Spectrum-3 system, this reduces the run time from almost an hour to a few minutes. 2021-08-25selftests/net: Use kselftest skip code for skipped testsPo-Hsu Lin1-6/+9
There are several test cases in the net directory are still using exit 0 or exit 1 when they need to be skipped. Use kselftest framework skip code instead so it can help us to distinguish the return status. Criterion to filter out what should be fixed in net directory: grep -r "exit [01]" -B1 | grep -i skip This change might cause some false-positives if people are running these test scripts directly and only checking their return codes, which will change from 0 to 4. However I think the impact should be small as most of our scripts here are already using this skip code. And there will be no such issue if running them with the kselftest framework. 2021-06-09selftests: devlink_lib: Fix bouncing of netdevsim DEVLINK_DEVPetr Machata1-1/+1
In the commit referenced below, a check was added to devlink_lib that asserts the existence of a devlink device referenced by $DEVLINK_DEV. Unfortunately, several netdevsim tests point DEVLINK_DEV at a device that does not exist at the time that devlink_lib is sourced. Thus these tests spuriously fail. Fix this by introducing an override. By setting DEVLINK_DEV to an empty string, the user declares their intention to handle DEVLINK_DEV management on their own. In all netdevsim tests that use devlink_lib and set DEVLINK_DEV, set instead an empty DEVLINK_DEV just before sourcing devlink_lib, and set it to the correct value right afterwards. 2020-10-01selftests: forwarding: devlink_lib: Support port-less topologiesPetr Machata1-1/+1

2020-10-01selftests: forwarding: devlink_lib: Split devlink_..._set() into save & setPetr Machata1-11/+51
Changing pool type from static to dynamic causes reinterpretation of threshold values. They therefore need to be saved before pool type is changed, then the pool type can be changed, and then the new values need to be set up. For that reason, set cannot subsume save, because it would be saving the wrong thing, with possibly a nonsensical value, and restore would then fail to restore the nonsensical value. Thus extract a _save() from each of the relevant _set()'s. This way it is possible to save everything up front, then to tweak it, and then restore in the required order. 2019-11-08selftests: devlink: Export functions to devlink libraryAmit Cohen1-0/+42
l2_drops_test() is used to check that drop traps are functioning as intended. Currently it is only used in the layer 2 test, but it is also useful for the layer 3 test introduced in the subsequent patch. l2_drops_cleanup() is used to clean configurations and kill mausezahn proccess.
