2022-09-02renesas: Fix RPC-IF compatible valuesGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+1
The compatible values used for device nodes representing Renesas Reduced Pin Count Interfaces were based on preliminary versions of the Device Tree Bindings. Correct them in both DTSi files and drivers, to match the final DT Bindings. Note that there are no DT bindings for RPC-IF on RZ/A1 yet, hence the most logical SoC-specific value is used, without specifying a family-specific value. 2022-09-02ARM: dts: rmobile: Fix RPC-IF device node namesGeert Uytterhoeven1-1/+1
According to the Generic Names Recommendation in the Devicetree Specification Release v0.3, and the DT Bindings for the Renesas Reduced Pin Count Interface, the node name for a Renesas RPC-IF device should be "spi". Especially on R-Car Gen3 and RZ/G2, the node name matters, as the node is enabled by passing a DT fragment from TF-A to U-Boot, and from U-Boot to subsequent software. Fix this by renaming the device nodes from "rpc" to "spi". Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be>
2021-01-18ARM: dts: renesas: Remove leading 0x from rpc nodeLad Prabhakar1-1/+1
Remove the leading "0x" from rpc node to fix the below dtc warning: Warning (simple_bus_reg): Node /soc/rpc@0xee200000 simple-bus unit address format error, expected "ee200000" Signed-off-by: Lad Prabhakar <prabhakar.mahadev-lad.rj@bp.renesas.com>
2019-04-09ARM: dts: rmobile: Synchronize Gen3 DTs with Linux 5.0Marek Vasut1-7/+9
Synchronize R-Car Gen3 device trees with Linux 5.0, commit 1c163f4c7b3f621efff9b28a47abb36f7378d783 . Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marek.vasut+renesas@gmail.com> Cc: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
2018-12-04ARM: dts: rmobile: Extract RPC node to u-boot specific DTMarek Vasut1-0/+10
The RPC DT bindings are still work in progress. Extract the RPC DT node from the DT to allow easier update and so it can be replaced once the DT bindings are stable. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-01-25ARM: dts: rmobile: Factor out U-Boot extrasMarek Vasut1-0/+9
Pull out u-boot extras into dtsi files to make synchronization of DTS from Linux kernel as easy as a simple copy. All the U-Boot extras are now in *-u-boot.dts* files instead. Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marek.vasut+renesas@gmail.com> Cc: Nobuhiro Iwamatsu <iwamatsu@nigauri.org>
