2020-08-01efi_loader: use CONFIG_STACK_SIZE in the UEFI sub-systemHeinrich Schuchardt1-8/+0
The Kconfig symbol CONFIG_STACK_SIZE is used both by ARM and Microblaze with the same meaning. Move it to menu 'General setup' so that we can use it for all architectures. 2020-05-19command: Remove the cmd_tbl_t typedefSimon Glass3-3/+4
We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward declarations which means that header files must include the full header to access them. 2019-10-08microblaze: Switch to generic bootm implementationMichal Simek2-53/+54
There is no reason to use private code for standard bootm command. Current implementation is also broken and don't support image relocation properly. Switching to generic bootm implementation is fixing these issues. cmdline and bdt bootm subcommands are returning -1 because they are not implemented. 2018-07-19microblaze: Convert generic platform to DM gpioMichal Simek3-13/+9
Converting GPIO to DM requires to do changes in reset subsystem that's why support for Microblaze soft reset via sysreset and GPIO sysreset support was added. These two patches enables enabling GPIO DM. Microblaze soft reset is bind at last reset method. GPIO reset is handled via sysreset with adding this fragment to DT. gpio-restart { compatible = "gpio-restart"; gpios = <&reset_gpio 0 0 0>; /* 3rd cell ACTIVE_HIGH = 0, ACTIVE_LOW = 1 */ }; hard-reset-gpio property is not documented and also handled. Timer needs to be converted to DM but as of now it can't be called so early because intc controller is not ready. Call it later in board_r.c. Before this patch timer_init is called twice which is wrong. The patch is blocking initialization before relocation. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini26-56/+26
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. Only ARM and in some configs MIPS really implement arch_fixup_fdt(). Others just use the same boilerplate which is not good by itself, but what's worse if we try to build with disabled CONFIG_CMD_BOOTM and enabled CONFIG_OF_LIBFDT we'll hit an unknown symbol which was apparently implemented in arch/xxx/lib/bootm.c. Now with weak arch_fixup_fdt() right in image-fdt.c where it is used we get both items highlighted above fixed. 2017-08-13spl: add hierarchical defaults for SPL_LDSCRIPTPhilipp Tomsich1-0/+3
With SPL_LDSCRIPT moved to Kconfig (and this being a 'string' config node), all the lingering definitions in header files will cause warnings/errors due to the redefinition of the configuration item. As we don't want to pollute the defconfig files (and values should usually be identical for entire architectures), the defaults are moved into Kconfig. Kconfig will always pick the first default that matches, so please keep these values at the end of each file (to allow any board-specific Kconfig, which will be included earlier) to override with an unconditional default setting. U-Boot Some platforms have very limited SRAM to run SPL code, so there may not be the same amount space for a malloc pool before relocation in the SPL stage as the normal U-Boot stage. Make SPL and (the full) U-Boot stage use independent SYS_MALLOC_F_LEN, so the size of pre-relocation malloc pool can be configured memory space independently. 2017-05-08spl: make image arg or fdt blob address reconfigurableVikas Manocha1-3/+3
At present fdt blob or argument address being passed to kernel is fixed at compile time using macro CONFIG_SYS_SPL_ARGS_ADDR. FDT blob from different media like nand, nor flash are copied to the address pointed by the macro.
