2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-05-15mmc: replace CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC with CONFIG_MMCMasahiro Yamada1-2/+2
Now CONFIG_GENERIC_MMC and CONFIG_MMC match for all defconfig. We do not need two options for the same feature. Deprecate the former. This commit was generated with the sed script 's/GENERIC_MMC/MMC/' and manual fixup of drivers/mmc/Kconfig. Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>
2017-03-20ti: boot: Register the MMC controllers in SPL in the same way as in u-bootJean-Jacques Hiblot1-1/+1
To keep a consistent MMC device mapping in SPL and in u-boot, let's register the MMC controllers the same way in u-boot and in the SPL. In terms of boot time, it doesn't hurt to register more controllers than needed because the MMC device is initialized only prior being accessed for the first time. Having the same device mapping in SPL and u-boot allows us to use the environment in SPL whatever the MMC boot device. Signed-off-by: Jean-Jacques Hiblot <jjhiblot@ti.com>
2017-01-21status_led: Kconfig migrationUri Mashiach1-3/+3
Move all of the status LED feature to drivers/led/Kconfig. The LED status definitions were moved from the board configuration files to the defconfig files. TBD: Move all of the definitions in the include/status_led.h to the relevant board's defconfig files. Tested boards: CL-SOM-AM57x, CM-T335 Signed-off-by: Uri Mashiach <uri.mashiach@compulab.co.il>
2015-10-22omap-common: Common function to display die id, replacing omap3-specific versionPaul Kocialkowski1-1/+1
This introduces omap_die_id_display to display the full die id. There is no need to store it in an environment variable, that no boot script is using anyway. Signed-off-by: Paul Kocialkowski <contact@paulk.fr> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2014-12-05omap_hsmmc: Board-specific TWL4030 MMC power initializationsPaul Kocialkowski1-0/+7
Boards using the TWL4030 regulator may not all use the LDOs the same way (e.g. MMC2 power can be controlled by another LDO than VMMC2). This delegates TWL4030 MMC power initializations to board-specific functions, that may still call twl4030_power_mmc_init for the default behavior. 2014-04-11board:tricorder: always work with valid eeprom dataAndreas Bießmann1-0/+2
Commit 890880583d84607e36b52a785a96b167728bbf73 introduced EEPROM parsing and board detection but faild to return a valid tricorder_eeprom struct for backup case. When pressing S200 while reading EEPROM we ignore the value. We returned falsely a tricorder_eeprom struct with uninitialized data which is just garbage. Initialize it by zeroing the whole structure. 2012-12-10Pass sdrc timing values through board_sdrc_timings structurePeter Barada1-7/+6
Instead of passing individual registers by value to board_get_mem_timings, pass a board_mem_timings structure pointer for the board files to fill in. Pass same structure pointer to write_sdrc_timings. This saves about 90 bytes of space in SPL. Signed-off-by: Peter Barada <peter.barada@logicpd.com>
2012-05-15ARM:OMAP+:MMC: Add parameters to MMC initJonathan Solnit1-1/+1
Add parameters to the OMAP MMC initialization function so the board can mask host capabilities and set the maximum clock frequency. While the OMAP supports a certain set of MMC host capabilities, individual boards may be more restricted and the OMAP may need to be configured to match the board. The PRG_SDMMC1_SPEEDCTRL bit in the OMAP3 is an example. Signed-off-by: Jonathan Solnit <jsolnit@gmail.com>
