2023-02-06km/ppc832x: join config filesHolger Brunck1-5/+5
There are no differences for the different 832x targets we have in the header defined with SYS_CONFIG_NAME. So we can join the five headers to a single file. Signed-off-by: Holger Brunck <holger.brunck@hitachienergy.com>
2023-02-06km/ppc: remove km-mpc8360.h and km-mpc832x.hHolger Brunck1-0/+85
Next step to get rid of the header files in icnlude/configs. Move most of the defines to km83xx.c directly. Some remaining defines which should go to Kconfig are moved to km-mpc83xx.h for now. Also remove some unused defines and move one define to powerpc.env as we only need it there. Signed-off-by: Holger Brunck <holger.brunck@hitachienergy.com>

2022-08-04powerpc: Move CONFIG_SYS_DDR_SIZE to CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_SIZETom Rini1-3/+2
We have a number of CONFIG_SYS_xxx_SIZE options to describe the amount main memory available. Rework CONFIG_SYS_DDR_SIZE, which described a size in number of MiB to use CONFIG_SYS_SDRAM_SIZE which is most often used as a number of bytes. Use shifts of this option when required. - As there are no boards that use different values for speed / slave on different buses, use a single option. - Switch to using the common SYS_I2C_SPEED / SYS_I2C_SLAVE options. - Introduce _HAS_ options for additional buses as only the first one is common to all users. - Convert all remaining symbols to Kconfig. 2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+1
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-07-17treewide: convert bd_t to struct bd_info by coccinelleMasahiro Yamada1-1/+1
The Linux coding style guide (Documentation/process/coding-style.rst) clearly says: It's a **mistake** to use typedef for structures and pointers. Besides, using typedef for structures is annoying when you try to make headers self-contained. Let's say you have the following function declaration in a header: void foo(bd_t *bd); This is not self-contained since bd_t is not defined. To tell the compiler what 'bd_t' is, you need to include <asm/u-boot.h> #include <asm/u-boot.h> void foo(bd_t *bd); Then, the include direcective pulls in more bloat needlessly. If you use 'struct bd_info' instead, it is enough to put a forward declaration as follows: struct bd_info; void foo(struct bd_info *bd); Right, typedef'ing bd_t is a mistake. I used coccinelle to generate this commit. The semantic patch that makes this change is as follows: <smpl> @@ typedef bd_t; @@ -bd_t +struct bd_info </smpl> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <masahiroy@kernel.org>

2019-07-11km: modify Kconfig file organization for KM boardsPascal Linder1-0/+62
As preparation for the upcoming transferring of configurations from header files to Kconfig, a common Kconfig file for all KM boards was created. For the moment, it only sources the other three, more specific, Kconfig files. Therefore, the architecture Kconfig files now include the common Kconfig file. Also, the configuration selection for KM boards was moved from the architecture Kconfig files to the board specific Kconfig files. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini3-7/+3
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
