2020-12-19dm: Avoid accessing seq directlySimon Glass1-1/+1
At present various drivers etc. access the device's 'seq' member directly. This makes it harder to change the meaning of that member. Change access to go through a function instead. The drivers/i2c/lpc32xx_i2c.c file is left unchanged for now. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename ..._platdata variables to just ..._platSimon Glass1-1/+1
Try to maintain some consistency between these variables by using _plat as a suffix for them. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-12-14dm: treewide: Rename 'platdata' variables to just 'plat'Simon Glass1-1/+1
We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data. We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private or platform data). Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-19command: Remove the cmd_tbl_t typedefSimon Glass1-6/+6
We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward declarations which means that header files must include the full header to access them. Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is now not useful. This requires quite a few header-file additions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-05-10cmd: cpu: refactor to ensure devices are probed and improve code styleÁlvaro Fernández Rojas1-17/+13
Use uclass_first_device and uclass_next_device in order to avoid exceptions for drivers that aren't probed when cpu ops are requested. Improve code style and fix indentations. Fix incorrect line break when cpu info is not available. Remove unneeded brackets. Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2017-05-10cmd: cpu: fix NULL cpu feature printsÁlvaro Fernández Rojas1-0/+1
Commit 740d5d3 added two new features but only one feature name, which results in NULL prints when device_id feature is selected. Before: HG556a # cpu detail -1: cpu@0 BCM6358A1 ID = 0, freq = 300 MHz: L1 cache, MMU, NULL Device ID 0x2a010 -1: cpu@1 BCM6358A1 ID = 1, freq = 300 MHz: L1 cache, MMU, NULL Device ID 0x2a010 After: HG556a # cpu detail -1: cpu@0 BCM6358A1 ID = 0, freq = 300 MHz: L1 cache, MMU, Device ID Device ID 0x2a010 -1: cpu@1 BCM6358A1 ID = 1, freq = 300 MHz: L1 cache, MMU, Device ID Device ID 0x2a010 Signed-off-by: Álvaro Fernández Rojas <noltari@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-17cpu: Add support for microcode version and CPU IDSimon Glass1-0/+7
Some CPUs use microcode and each core can have a different version of microcode loaded. Also some CPUs support the concept of an integer ID used for identification purposes. Add support for these in the CPU uclass. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2016-01-25Remove the cmd_ prefix from command filesSimon Glass1-0/+114
Now that they are in their own directory, we can remove this prefix. This makes it easier to find a file since the prefix does not get in the way.
